A houseboat that passes under Harumi Bridge and Harumi Bridge

[Kantaro 2017] August 31, 2017 16:00

This summer, the weather was unseasonable, and I feel that the cicada sounded was short. Perhaps because of that, I wasn't blessed with the opportunity to take pictures of a houseboat passing under the title Harumi Bridge.

The Harumi Bridge runs parallel to the Harumi Bridge, an industrial remain freight wire. This freight line connected Ecchujima Station of JR and Harumi Wharf, but was abolished in 1989 and all railway lines were removed. However, the only remaining remain is this arch bridge and is said to be "a valuable heritage that has seen the development of the Gulf Area."

The canal that flows below this is the Harumi Canal (or Harumi Canal), and the Ohashi that runs downstream of this river is also Harumi Ohashi, but this bridge is indicated as Harumi, which uses spring letters. This bridge is also the ward of Chuo-ku and Koto-ku, where Harumi-dori St., which connects Harumi, Kachidoki, Tsukiji in Chuo-ku, and Harumi-dori St., connects Ginza with Koto-ku and Toyosu and Shinonome in Koto-ku.

As a place where you can see skyscrapers in the Harumi and Tsukishima districts that continue to develop in the bay area of Chuo-ku, the industrial heritage that is an abandoned arch bridge, the houseboat that colors the summer night in Tokyo, and the fun of the name (Harumi and Harumi) is especially recommended during the twilight season.

Power of Tsukiji Outer Market

[Shitamachi Tom] August 30, 2017 14:00

Tsukiji Fire 2.jpg

The fire that recently occurred in the [outside market] was a major incident in which the surrounding area was temporarily confused, but fortunately I was relieved without human damage. I was worried about what would happen because it was a dense area with old wooden buildings. You must have been surprised.

Tsukiji Fire 3.jpg
There were several shops that were unable to operate due to the collapse or damage of the shop due to the fire, and I was sorry, but there were a number of handwritten notes on the fire site, `` I am temporarily operating elsewhere '' I'm caught my eye. The sadness of the blue sheet is also encouraged by touching the strength that can never be seen.

IMG_5176 (2). JPGA greengrocer has been operating a blue sky only in the morning beside a nearby gas station. There are many regulars, and vegetables are sold one after another. Each time, encouragement and familiarity are exchanged, such as "Please do your best" or "I'm glad you got a business."

Tsukiji is not only full of humanity, but also people with a strong heart that can withstand adversity support the food culture firmly. Please support the development and resurrection of Tsukiji [outside market]. And I hope you will come and visit us when you come near you. Thank you very much.

Postbox in the Ginza area

[O'age] August 28, 2017 14:00

Many people know that there is an inconspicuous post near Kyobashi of the "Ginza Birthplace" monument. I think they are taking care of the beauty of the city.

On the east side sidewalk of Chuo-dori, Ginza 2-chome

By the way, in Namiki-dori St., etc., it is an inconspicuous post with dark green. I don't think I've seen it in other parts of Tokyo.

Also, the small post offices in the Ginza area are not on the first floor of a rental building, but on the second floor or above, so this is also a characteristic of the expensive commercial area called Ginza.

Visualization of wall greening [Chuo-ku government office]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 26, 2017 18:00

In Chuo-ku, I often see buildings that are green on the wall, but sometimes I want to know how effective it is actually.

At the Chuo-ku government office, a thermometer for greening the wall has been installed next to the front entrance for a long time, so that the difference between the temperature of the wall that is not greened and the temperature of the green wall can be seen in real time in real time. "Visualization" is planned.

hekimen001.JPG

On the day of shooting (August 22), the temperature of the wall that was not greened on the wall was 34.3 degrees, while the temperature of the greened wall was 29.0 degrees, 5.3 degrees different. Was

Wall greening is amazing, or this effect using the power of plants is amazing.

From tomorrow (23rd), the temperature will rise further, and the effect of wall greening is expected more.

A park in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, which had been raining all the time since August, is the scenery between rain.

boken002.JPG

On the west side of Akatsuki Park in Tsukiji 7-chome, the adventure plaza (map below, long diamond-shaped red frame) has playground equipment using tires and Tarzan ropes, so you can enjoy a little field athletic feeling I can do it.

During the rain, many families were using this adventure plaza (the photo was taken so that no one could enter).

Morning glory was also blooming on the fence of the Adventure Square, which matched the cheers of the children and made them feel like summer.
