The sweets collection, this year's highlight is ...

[Nyan,] February 13, 2019 13:00

Speaking of Valentine's Day, I think the image of "sweet and sour" as "the day when a woman confesses to a man" was strong in the past, but recently it has been
・A woman rewards herself
・Women give each other (high quality) chocolate and other sweets.
・For some reason, men buy chocolates by women, and bags are also bought because of the rush.
・My uncle buys the chocolate he wants to eat at the event.
I feel that there is a wide variety of ways to enjoy and exploit while increasing the variety of flavors that are not only "sweet", such as "sweet".

For this reason, events to buy chocolates from all over the world are called "Sweets Collection" and "Salon de Chocolat" instead of "Valentine", and there are more options to keep up with the brand even if it is a fairly sweet party.

What is the focus of this season? "Ruby chocolate," right?

This is the new category of chocolate that appeared for the first time in 80 years following dark, milk and white.
Ruby chocolate is rare and delicate, so I visited the sweets collection at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store to try this ruby chocolate.

By the way, Godiva's first Asian store, famous for its luxury chocolate brand, is the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store (1972).
It may not come out, but it's a trivia.

First, I purchased "Yokan au Chocolat" with "Toraya". It is a product limited to the Paris store, and it is a taste of an adult with a mixture of rum and yokan.
toraya.jpg
Next, at the venue of the Sweets Collection, I ordered Pierre Marcolini soft serve ice cream. Combination of happiness that harmonizes rich aroma of cacao with gentle strawberry.
pieru.jpg
Speaking of Pierre Marcolini, it goes back to my memories of traveling to Belgium with my boss more than 20 years ago.
At that time, I don't think there was anything in Japan that would become a luxury chocolate market as it is now. Preliminary study Airplaneon business trips (?) "Is Neuhaus, Wittamer, Del Rey, etc. famous in Belgium (all are still famous)" I had gained a shallow knowledge, but the old streets ○ province I met in Belgium said, "Let's go to an up-and-coming chocolate patissier shop that won the chocolate championship," "Piermaruco" said. There were chocolates like jewels in the shop, but I think it was mainly sold in "blocks" units like large plate chocolates.

Next is the real ruby chocolate ... I went to buy Del Rey ruby chocolate that I was aiming for ..., why?
It's sold out! ! (Other brands were sold out all the way.)
Perhaps because of its rarity, it is even more expensive even in a high-class chocolate group, so I read a sweet saying, "It will not be sold out in a rubble."

Although the set of ruby chocolate "only" was sold out, I purchased a Peter buyer who sold a set containing ruby chocolate. Collaboration of sourness unique to fruits like berry and sweetness coming later. This is a gem that you want to eat more. Will it take some time to become a little more common?

peter.jpg
(In addition, we purchased premium wheat chocolate etc. You can enjoy a variety of flavors. Domestic wheat is also a nice point.)
mugichoko.jpgMany other brands, a variety of ways of enjoying, taste, sight, smell, hearing, and touch are elaborated enough to mobilize as much as possible, and the more you know, the deeper you notice.

The "French Blend" of Miyakoshiya Coffee, which is located at the same Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, is highly recommended as a coffee that goes well with chocolate.
Needless to say, I enjoyed chocolate while enjoying a slightly darker French blend.

Report of correspondent off party

[Chuo Kotaro] February 13, 2019 12:00

Hello, this is Taro Chuo. This is the first time in a year.

The Chuo-ku sightseeing test has been over, and I am relieved to have scored points that could manage to continue my correspondent in my own scoring. Also, as for the rest of this year, I am worried about the movie "Mascarade Hotel", which was modeled on Park Hotel in Hakozaki in the original work.

Well, this time, part of the correspondent activity (?) However, an off-party was held on January 19th (Saturday) at a Sicily cuisine bar & restaurant called Cantina Sicilyina in Ginza. Since I was a secretary, I would like to make a blog that also serves as a report on it.

If you are thinking of becoming a correspondent in the future, I would appreciate it if you could refer to it because there is something like this.

When I had a chance to meet Mr. Kno of the tourist association in October, it was a matter of planning an off-site party after a long absence, and when I asked everyone, there were many people who wanted to do it So, it was a carry of realization.

As the name implies, Cantina Sicilyna is a well-established restaurant that has been published in Michelin's Bibligurman for the second consecutive year in 2017 and 2018, and sommeliers are also available. When I came before, the atmosphere of the dishes, wine and the restaurant was very good, and lunch is open until 15:30, it can be reserved from 16 people, even if you ask for one drink and a reasonable amount of food It fits in just over 3,000 yen. 。 。 I thought it was perfect for this off party.

There are a total of 3 Cantina Sicilyna stores, 2 stores in Ginza and 1 store in Hakata.
This time, we performed at the Ginza 6-chome store, which won the Michelin (a store in an alley just one from Corridor Street).
The shop opened on June 14, 2013.
Follow the blog of the store below from the "article list" for how to open Sicily, not only dishes and wine, but also the interior and exterior of the shop.

 https://ameblo.jp/cantinasiciliana/

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean, located on the toes of the Italian peninsula. Due to its geographical location, it has a history of repeated conquering and governing as a key point of the Mediterranean Sea. It is said that a unique food culture was nurtured by the mixture of various cultures and its climatic characteristics.
Many people may be associated with the hometown of the movie "God Father".

It is famous for a variety of agricultural products such as olives, fresh fish, cheese and meat.
Some of the participants at the off-party were ordering "blood orange" juice, which was so red that it was different from tomato juice when making juice with Sicily's specialty food, I guess it was checked in advance.

In addition, Sicily is said to be a region where winemaking is so popular among Italy, which is comparable to France in terms of wine production, because its varied terrain is suitable for grape production.

At Cantina Sicilyna, you will enjoy more than 200 kinds of Sicily wine.
That's why I also received 2 cups of Scily spmante and house wine.

At the off-party, you first choose "PRANZO C (C Lunch / 2,300 yen)" and your favorite drink (around 800 yen) x 1 cup as a dish, and after the second cup, those who want it individually Order it Did.
I omit the details of the dishes, but personally I thought it was very delicious, including drinks.
The shop's specialty Sicily olive oil comes out with bread, but I think this goes well with anything, such as fish fries and pasta that appear on the course. Please try it.

In addition, the shop is decorated with a strange design flag with a face in the middle and three legs coming out of it, and many people were unusual, so I will supplement it just in case .
This flag is the Sicily State flag and is called "Triskel".
The face in the middle represents Medusa and the three feet represent the three capes of Sicily.
Medusa was not a monster, but originally a goddess of the earth, so this Triskel seems to be a symbol of Sicily with a rich earth.
※If you can search for the Sicily state flag with "Scily flag" on Google etc., you can check the strange design.

The meeting was scheduled to have a total of 30 participants, but three (two adults / one child) were not involved due to influenza or their nursing, and ultimately 27 (one child) ). Mr. Ura and Mr. Kno from the tourist association participated.
Also, as special guests, JUMI, who is always taking care of Chuo FM's correspondent corner "I love Chuo-ku", and his director, Imura, participated.

After all, the same hobby (?) The people with each other just swayed and took pictures, but two hours passed quickly. ※I believe everyone enjoyed it.

After all, once a year, this kind of off-party is also good.
Well, I hope you will be a fun correspondent activity next year.

Kachidoki Station platform will be expanded!

[wienerhorn] February 12, 2019 12:00

Kachidoki IMG_7124.jpgThe platform at Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line has been expanded and has been in service since February 11, 2019 (Monday).
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's announcement, when it opened in 2000, the number of passengers per day was about 30,000, but it increased to about 100,000 in FY2017. In order to eliminate congestion caused by this, one new one in addition to the platform, which used to be one side and two lines, has become a two-sided two line separated by area. The newly established platform has become a dedicated platform for Daimon.
Improvement work of station facilities will continue in the future, and final completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.
It would be nice to be able to ease commuting rush through the efforts of both businesses and users, including software measures such as staggered work.

There is no special procedure for entering the store, so it is easy to enter the store.

Pepper was greeted when I went inside, but it seemed a little bad today.

The product lineup of the demonstration experiment is beverages, cup noodles, and snacks, and Tokyo Dumbo also purchases carbonated water.

The current payment is only available for PAYPAY, but it will also be compatible with cryptocurrencies in the future.

IMG_5031.JPG

Tokyo Dumbo also purchased carbonated water and was able to read QR codes on a smartphone to make payments easy.

When we talked to the staff of Robot Security Police Co., Ltd., they said that a dedicated facility in Akasaka has a 24-hour monitoring system with the call center.

Currently, this Nihonbashi store is only available, but it seems that we are preparing for the second and third openings.

Why don't you experience the cashless world as soon as possible?

Chuo-ku, which shines at night: Let's find "My Night View Spot"!

[Hanes] February 11, 2019 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
What do you think of when you say "Night View of Chuo-ku"?
There may be typical things such as the eight night views of Chuo-ku and the scenery from Harumi Wharf.

However, even if it is not very famous as a night view, Chuo-ku makes you want to take pictures.
There are a lot of spots that are fascinated by the radiance of the night.
Among them, this time, I would like to introduce 4 spots that I recently photographed.

[Building]
■PLUSTOKYO
"Adult social space" opened brilliantly on the 12th floor/RF of Kirarito Ginza in November last year.
Globally popular DJs such as STEVE AOKI and R3HAB also perform performances.
It is a hot spot that will also create a nighttime economy for Tokyo 2020.

IMG_4161.JPG

DJs may have a strong image of a club, but they may have a strong image of a club.
PLUSTOKYO also has restaurants, bars, and galleries.
It can be enjoyed for various purposes day and night, such as providing a slightly luxurious branch.

I've never been there yet, but this floor, which is eye-catching on Chuo-dori, is on the street.
As you can see in the photo, it definitely shows the radiance unique to the night.

■Park City Chuo Minato The Tower (completed in November 2017, 36 stories above ground)
In recent years, the redevelopment of Minato has progressed, and the number of tower apartments is increasing.
Among them, one of the most eye-catching rooftops is the unique shape of this roof.
When I looked into it, I found that there was a sky garden here.
Because there are no tall buildings around, it seems that the space is very open.

IMG_4055.JPG

From here, I would like to see the night view of Chuo-ku once.

[Bridge]
■Takahashi
Among the bridges over the Kamejima River, there are bridges that are beautifully lit up at night.

IMG_4053.JPG

The bridge lit up in blue is also a highlight, but please pay attention to the river surface.
Despite the fact that there are many buildings that are not illuminated.
The scenery reflected in the river is a fantastic blue and white scenery reminiscent of an "underground empire"....
I can just imagine it.

IMG_4051.JPG

■Minami Takahashi
Among the bridges in Chuo-ku, design is one of my favorite bridges.
If a part of the bridge is used as a subject, it will be finished as if it were taken at night overseas.

IMG_4049.JPG

There are many places in Chuo-ku where you can see beautiful night views, and such places are already well known, but they are still well known.
Just a little change in your eyes and perspectives, apart from them, you will find a wonderful place that shines at night.
Why don't you look for a "My Night View Spot" that is not listed in the guidebook when you leave work or go sightseeing at night?

One of the correspondents' reflection meeting Part 1-From the 11th Chuo-ku sightseeing test-

[Edamame] February 10, 2019 12:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

On February 3 (Sun), the 11th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification was held.

Although I applied for it, I realized that there was an extreme lack of preparation.

"Isn't it better to stop receiving it?"

I felt like I heard the devil's whisper

"It's meaningful to participate!" He inspired himself, saying, "It's meaningful to participate!", And the day before he violently solved the past questions and challenged it.

And now it's over.

I don't think it's good if I finish it with "I'm over, okay?"

What you care about from the lost or wrong problems?

I would like to focus on some of them.

That's why please associate with the "Edamame One Remorse Meeting" series for a while.

First of all, it is a question from this year's theme problem "Heisei no Chuo-ku".

Question 5 Of the following buildings in Chuo-ku, they were designated as important national cultural properties.

Which of the following is not Heisei?

A. Kachidokibashi A. Nihonbashi U.S. Mitsui Main Building E. Main Building of the Bank of Japan

・・To be honest, I wonder if there is such a point! It was a big sweat.

It is true that the historical value of modern buildings has been recognized as a matter of recent years.

In this way, all of them have the impression that they have been certified in Heisei (sweat like a waterfall).

That's why I removed it in the actual production.

I'll check it out.

A. Kachidokibashi

DSC_4240-1.jpg

This Kachidokibashi is often used for the certification.

It was called "the best movable bridge in the Orient" and originally jumped five times a day.

Currently, opening and closing is suspended due to a decrease in the volume of ship operations.

Yeah.

Based on evaluation of "highly technically completed structure with the largest movable branch in Japan", etc.

It was designated as a national important cultural property in June 2007! ! !

So this is not the answer.

B. Nihonbashi

DSC_5125-1.jpg

Nihonbashi, where the current bridge was built in 1911 (Meiji 44).

It's a place where there's no shortage of topics.

There are squares, docks and docks in the four Hashizume.

There's also a tourist information center.

However, the bridge itself that has exceeded the 100th anniversary of the bridge is also a frequent problem and must be checked.

The lion in the photo symbolizes "protection of Tokyo City" (frequency problem).

So Nihonbashi was designated as an Important Cultural Property in May 1999! !

That's why this is not the answer.

C. Mitsui Main Building

DSC_5118-1.jpg

As you can see from the photo, the order column of "Colint type (which is frequent here)" is the order column.

The Mitsui Main Building is impressive.

The building was completed in 1929 as an office building for major Mitsui companies.

It seems that there is a large safe with a circular door weighing 50 tons underground.

(This is also questioned in the past.)

So, the Mitsui Main Building was designated as an Important Cultural Property in December 1998! !

So this is not the answer.

D. Main Building of the Bank of Japan

DSC_5139-1.jpg

・・・ Don't say, "E is answered by the erasure method!"

In 1882, the Bank of Japan began its operations as a central bank in Japan.

I used the building of the Hokkaido Pioneering Envoy Tokyo branch office located under the Eitai Bridge.

Your design is Josaiah Condor. I'm a foreigner who was in charge of the design of Kanarukan.

(This is also a point that has been frequently asked for a long time.)

However, the facilities were narrow and the transportation was poor.

In Meiji 29 (1896), a new building was built and relocated.

This is the current main building of the Bank of Japan head office in Nihonbashi Honishi-cho, where "Koza" was located in the Edo period.

Kingo Tatsuno was in charge of the design. He's a disciple of Condor.

The model was the Belgian central bank (this has also been questioned in the past).

The design style is "Neo Baroque architecture" that combines the Baroque style and the Renaissance style.

About half of the building was burned down by the Great Kanto Earthquake, but repairs were made three years later.

An extension was made in the early Showa period, and it continues to this day.

And ... It was designated as an important cultural property in 1974! ! !!

Surprisingly, it was a long time before the other three.

So the correct answer was "E. The main building of the Bank of Japan Main Store"!

There are also many interesting exhibits at the "Mont Museum" right opposite the main building of the Bank of Japan.

After reviewing the test, why don't you take a walk around here? ?

"Edo Sakura-dori St.", where senior correspondent "CAM" was used the other day.

/archive/2019/02/11-12.html

DSC_5116-1.jpg

It is a road that passes from the main building of the Bank of Japan to Choredo Muromachi.

This also includes "Depa Underground" at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

It's also perfect for a walk while looking for something delicious.

It is especially recommended because the row of cherry blossom trees is beautiful as the name suggests.
