I want to make it a souvenir! 5 selections of cream puffs unique to Chuo-ku

[Hanes] March 12, 2019 18:00

Hello. It's Hanes, a new correspondent!
Suddenly, do you know what day March 12 is?
It seems that there is a "purse day" in the word matching, but one other thing that should not be forgotten is "Sweets Day".
I like cream puff the most among cream-based sweets, so I like it.
This time, I compared some cream puffs that can be bought in the city.

■Schukry (Sucre-rie)
As the senior correspondent rosemary sea and Mukuru introduced, we have introduced you.
There is a very popular cream puff that is "must line" and "sold out" here.
The location is near Nihonbashi Elementary School (part of the site of the Saigo Takamori mansion).

Thumbnail image of FB_IMG_1550744847733.jpg

At the time of the visit, Christmas was near, so there were about 20 people lined up before the store opened.
The cream puff is served multiple times a day.
The number is limited, such as 70 or 100 each time.
For that reason, I was asked for the order number of cream puffs while I was in line.

I heard rumors that sesame is the point of this cream puff.
I'm looking forward to it even though it's unusual, and here I was able to purchase it safely for a while!
Elegant sesame condition is preserved, but not too sesame sesame seeds.

FB_IMG_1550744820159.jpg

As you can imagine from the appearance, it has a crispy fabric.
And what is your concern?...

FB_IMG_1550744832632.jpg

Smooth cream is packed with less sweet taste.
I felt a stronger impression of vanilla than custard.
Surprisingly, the uniqueness of sesame is not bothered, so it can be recommended as a souvenir of Nihonbashi.

Regular holidays: Sunday

■Meijiya Kyobashi Store
Next, it was advertised in Kyobashi as "Recommended for souvenirs".
Delibake cream puff from Meijiya Kyobashi store!

IMG_4732.JPG

This is different from Mr. Schurley's cream puff.
The fabric is soft and fluffy.
And what I would like to emphasize personally is a cute look like flowers.

IMG_4735.JPG

I've seen a lot of cream puffs so far.
It's the first time that this is the first time!
Because of the unevenness, it can be eaten relatively elegantly by tearing it by hand without sticking it.
It may be a nice point for women.

The cream doesn't have a strong custard egg feeling.
Without strong feeling of vanilla, it makes it easy for anyone to eat.
In addition, it's smooth and creamy, so you can eat many of them.
The shop is directly connected to the station, so it is highly evaluated that you can easily drop in.

Address: 2-2-8, Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
Business hours and regular holidays: 10:00~21:00

■Kohji Corner Ginza 1-chome Main Store
This time, cream puff that can be bought in Ginza, a little south of Kyobashi!
The Kohji corner is now being rolled out nationwide, but the main store is located in Ginza.
There are plenty of delicious sweets that are affordable.
I think there are many people who have been there once.

IMG_4586.JPG

The jumbo cream puff series at the Kohji corner is a 35th anniversary long seller.
Why do you introduce this time even though it can be purchased outside the Ginza main store?...
This is because it was renewed on February 22, 2019 and upgraded its level.

IMG_4589.JPG

Custard cream is made to increase the flavor of vanilla and further enhance the richness of eggs.
Whip & custard not only increased cream but also increased cream.
It seems that the richness has been added with the addition of anglaze sauce.
It's just called "jumbo", a size that doesn't disappoint expectations!
This Shoo fabric is also fluffy, and it's crisp.
Isn't it easy for small children to eat?

■Ta Hanatani-do
This time, it is a cream puff that can be purchased at Tsukiji.
This shop is known for its "cream that can be lined up"...

IMG_4572.JPG

You can buy crisp, creamy cream puffs featured on TV shows.

IMG_4570.JPG

The sharpness of the cream is far from others.
It is no exaggeration to say that there is no cavities.

IMG_4576.JPG

The rich custard cream with vanilla beans generously is impressive!
If you like cream puffers who are particular about cream, I would like you to eat it once.

■Ginza Midori Hanado
I don't go to Tsukiji, but there's a lot of cream around Ginza as well.
If you want to eat crispy cream puff, go to this shop.

IMG_4866.JPG

The cream puff here is also the favorite of Kabuki actor Matsuya Onoe.
It seems that there is no need to worry about the shape loss when carrying it because the fabric is bulky.
Also, I'm particular about making it.
You can enjoy a high-quality texture that leaves a slight warmth.
In addition, he was able to win the first place in the No. 1 cream puff game.
It is also a hot topic cream puff that you will want to check when you come to Kabukiza.

By the way, I introduced 5 kinds of cream puffs, was there anything you care about?
Even if you don't usually eat sweets, you can enjoy sweets in Chuo-ku on March 12.
There should be a lot of sweets that will make you smile just by looking at it.

Sukiyaki Iseshige

[Silver] March 8, 2019 09:00

Iseshige is close to Takarada Ebisu Shrine and Jushi Square, close to Tokyo Metro Kodemmacho Station.

On this day, after taking a walk around the area, we visited for lunch.

Open the door on the left side of the shop and descend the stairs, you will see wonderful dolls and flowers. As expected, it is a long-established store that was founded in 1869.

I read the budget (draft) for FY2019, Chuo-ku

[wienerhorn] March 6, 2019 12:00

Hot Plaza Harumi IMG_5710.jpgI read the budget (draft) for FY2019 published on the homepage of Chuo-ku.
The general account exceeded 100 billion yen for the first time as an initial budget.
It is a budget that takes into account population growth, the Tokyo 2020 Games, and the infrastructure development committee with a view to the "200,000 cities" ahead.
Among the new major businesses, I focused on the following:

・Local rat control promotion project
・Revision of bridge life extension repair plan
・Survey of New Subway Lines
・Maintenance of "Edo Bus" Free Wi-Fi
・Noh and Kabuki appreciation classes
・Participation in Brasilian Youth School Games
・Development of Tokiwa Elementary School (Annex)
・Origami Crane Project (tentative name)
・Renewal of warm bath Plaza Hot Plaza Harumi

In particular, I'm worried about the new subway line, Hot Plaza Harumi, etc.
What kind of business are you interested in?

One of the correspondents' reflection meeting Part 4-From the 11th Chuo-ku sightseeing test-

[Edamame] March 6, 2019 09:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

2 → /archive/2019/02/11-15.html

3 → /archive/2019/02/11-16.html

And continue to do so.

From the "11th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification" conducted on February 3 (Sun)

I would like to take up the problem you care about.

Question 34 "Bettara City", which is held every year on October 19 and 20, is an autumn feature of Chuo-ku.

It is said to have originated in the city that sold offering, an event held on October 20.

So, which of the following events were learned to take place on October 20?

A. 19th night lecture Tori-no-ichi Fair U. Kayaba-cho Yakushi Pilgrimage E. Ebisu Lecture

For those who have studied or taken a walk about Chuo-ku a little

Isn't the answer itself not so difficult? I thought it.

The right answer is ... a photo of the past Betara city in my smartphone.

DSC_2095-1.jpg

There's a huge Japanese lantern in the upper right.

It says "Ebisu Shrine" in it.

"Bettara City" was held in front of "Takarada Ebisu Shrine" in Otemmacho.

"Ebisu-ko" is the beginning.

By the way, what is "Ebisu-ko"?

Ebisu-sama, a paper for commerce and agriculture.

Along with lucky items such as image of deity, hammered hammer, sea bream, and Kirisansho.

I wished for business prosperity.

Speaking of which ...

DSC_2102-1.jpg

Edamame, when I went to Bettara City, I bought Kirisansho.

DSC_2103-1.jpg

This was also the offering of Ebisu-ko, so it was sold there.

I remember the refreshing flavor of Sansho was pleasant.

That's why the answer is d.

Yeah.

Why was Edamame "worry" about this problem?

"...What is the nineteenth night course? ?」

B. Tori-no-ichi Fair of

It is also held at Matsushima Shrine in Ningyocho in Chuo-ku.

DSC_2609-1.jpg

(The photo shows the New Year's Day of some year.)

Previously, a senior correspondent, Shiba Inu, took up about Tori-no-ichi Fair.

/archive/2018/11/post-5817.html

C. For the visit to Kayaba-cho Yakushi, divide one page with plenty of official text.

There is a detailed explanation.

The statue of Yakushi Nyorai at Chisen-in in Kayabacho was gathering the religion of the common people of Edo.

Ueki City was also held in fair on the 8th and 12th of every month, and it was very lively.

DSC_0594-1.jpg

(This is a statue of Jizo Bodhisattva standing in the precincts of Chisen-in Temple where Yakushi, Kayabacho was located)

But I had never heard of the nineteenth night course.

I decided to check it out.

[Koyasugami]

The god of child care. In the article of the Third Real Record of Japan, Jogan, July 11, 876

As you can see from the fact that the name has already appeared, it is an old faith.

It was held in various places.

At present, there are many things linked to other religions such as Koyasu Kannon, Koyasu Jizo, and Koyasu Yahata.

In eastern Japan, there is a place called Koyasu-ko, where women gather and worship Koyasu-sama.

Since it gathers on the 19th of the month, it is also called the 19th night course or the 19th night.

(From the description of the encyclopedia of the Britannica International University Encyclopedia)

I see. It was the "Lecture" of the faith of Koyasu.

And the date is covered by the 19th when "Betara City" is held!

It might have been perfect in a sense to make it a "good choice" (laughs).

・・・ And is there a place in Chuo-ku dedicated to Koyasujin?

I couldn't find Edamame because I didn't study.

In Tokyo, there seem to be some shrines named "Koyasu".

I'd like to check out the shrine's enshrined deity during a walk.

That's why I think about the religion of the Edo period.

It was a problem that has been a little oversight.

If you delve into the problem that you solved, there are many discoveries.

You don't want to miss what you're wondering or getting caught.

Enjoy the breath of Umeka Spring

[Asunaro] March 4, 2019 09:00

It was worshiped as the deity of the Kawamura family in Mikawa country.
At the beginning, Tokuemon-cho along the Kanda River with the opening of Edo.
In the house and after the great fire of the Meiryaku era, it was relocated to the headquarters.
The shrine is also relocated.

The worshipers are constantly thinking about many worship services.
From the house to the current location (near Sannobashi, Tachikawa, Sumida-ku)
Yes, it's.

"nel CRAFT CHOCOLATE TOKYO" Open in HAMACHO HOTEL!

[Edamame] February 23, 2019 09:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

Today, February 15, 2019.

A new type of hotel with rental housing

"HAMACHO HOTEL" has opened!

DSC_5174-1.jpg

The state of the building is being built as an edamame of neighboring residents.

I was looking forward to seeing you every day.

What is the interest of local residents?

"What kind of good shop can I have?"

That's right. There will definitely be a delicious restaurant in the hotel.

In many cases, high-quality confectioneries are also included.

I'm looking forward to it.

So, first of all, today is the first day of the opening.

It was newly opened in the hotel.

I visited "nel CRAFT CHOCOLATE TOKYO".

DSC_5170-1.jpg

The entrance facing the road has sides and stairs that do not face the main street.

Considering easy-to-understand and barrier-free routes

It might be better to enter from the front entrance of the hotel facing Kiyosubashi-dori.

DSC_5173-1.jpg

Enter the hotel entrance and proceed to the back of your right and you will be able to arrive at the store properly.

Well, in the shop right away.

DSC_5171-1.jpg

There are various kinds of tablet chocolates right next to the entrance.

It was displayed with cacao.

"Ghana", "Venezuela", "Bunchapbetonam", etc.

There are a lot of chocolates with the name of the cacao production area.

The percentage of cacao seems to be different, and it seems fun to compare eating.

DSC_5172-1.jpg

The chocolate bonbon was also displayed here.

DSC_5177-1.jpg

Is it easier to understand the shape of the picture in the pamphlet?

It was made of cacao made by contract farmers in Vietnam

In addition to "Bunchapbentonam"

It is only made from special ingredients such as "Tamba Black Bean Kinako" and "Yuzu".

It is said that the name of the shop "nel" comes from "kneading".

"Delivering chocolate kneaded with carefully selected materials and craftsmanship with true heart."

You're making it with that feeling.

Chef Chocolatier goes to the production area by himself

It contains carefully selected cacao beans and ingredients selected from producers.

Chocolate completed with high technology, incorporating ingredients unique to Japan.

All of them make you feel the high quality.

In addition, "late citrus peel" using Amakusa late citrus from Kumamoto and

"Chocola Show (Chocolate Drink)" etc.

All of them are attractive, and they're in trouble with their eyes.

This is what I bought today.

DSC_5175-1.jpg

"Nihonbashi hamachoco" (1080 yen including tax).

It's in your mouth! !

It was a creamy and delicious chocolate with a smooth mouthfeel.

Is there a little liqueur in it? That's what you say

I felt soft later.

(So, this is not a snack of my daughter Azuki (3 years old)

It will be a snack at midnight for mother Edamame.)

There are special items that can only be obtained here.

It seems that you will be pleased when you want to make souvenirs somewhere in the future.

As a local resident, I will continue to take care of you.

Let's compare the eating of tablets this time?

Or would you like to try the Chocolat Show in the cold season?

I'm looking forward to seeing you next time.

And ... a restaurant in the hotel that I haven't visited yet.

I was thrilled to see you in the future.
