In the spring of this year (May), we planted eggplants and ginger in Ginza.
This fall, I went to harvest the vegetables.
The place is the Tenku Farm of Hakutsuru, a sake of Ginza 5-chome. http://www.hakutsuru.co.jp/g-nouen/about.shtml
From Mr. Oda, the director of the farm, the natural joy of getting the soil, and the production of rice, which is the core of sake. Lively with about 20 volunteers while listening to stories about these vegetable making. I spent some time on Saturday morning.
"I'm going to want to do something with the soil", how about everyone?
(At the intersection of Ginza 5-chome, Sapporo-san's innovative design GINZA PLACE stands. The basement beer hall will open, and Sony and others will open from September 24. I think it's fun.

Just a short distance from Kyobashi Plaza, where the Chuo-ku Tourism Association office is located, there is "Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE" in the corner area along Showa-dori.
While strolling, the mysteriously attracted the building has a truly Showa retro appearance with beautiful vintage brick-style tiles.
Rikihiro Kawasaki, the representative of the gallery, and Keiko Koga, curator and art history book translator, were able to hear the story immediately.
This building is a 85-year-old building that was completed in 1931 and 1931, and is a rare modern building that remains in Ginza.
In the gallery, special exhibitions are held from time to time, consisting of one hour, two cityscapes, and three art that reflect contemporary world, in order to stir the thinking power of what you see.
Until Sunday, September 25, the gallery is holding "1920-30, which can be glimpsed with old photographs in the age of Art Deco". 26 photographs taken by Berennis Abbott, a leading female photographer in the United States, have been selected and explained by Koga. The streets of New York are revived in this building space built at the same time.
There are only a few buildings in the early Showa era that remain in Ginza, such as Okuno Building, Yonei Building, Suzuki Building, and Wako.
Mr. Kawasaki, who is from a construction company in Oita and is familiar with architecture, was acquired four years ago, and decided to change from dismantling and preserve it. And the launch of a planning gallery for the future can be said to have gained a greater asset than the cityscape for the central residents.
Why don't you stop by and go back in time to the Ginza retro space?

At the Noevia Ginza Gallery on the first floor of the Noevia Ginza headquarters building facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St., a portrait exhibition "Fancy of the Age" by three famous photographers is currently being held.
The three are Takeyoshi Tanuma, Keisuke Kumagiri and Koichi Saito.
Mr. Tanuma studied under Ihei Kimura and has been shooting cultural figures for more than 60 years.
Mr. Kumagiri seems to have been in charge of graviar pages, mainly weekly magazines for 40 years.
Mr. Saito served as an assistant to Shotaro Akiyama and photographed more than 2,000 people.
This exhibition features portraits of novelists, artists, and film directors captured by three unique photographers.
Naoya Shiga, Yasunari Kawabata, Yukio Mishima, Hisashi Inoue, Chiyo Uno, Shotaro Ikenami, Harumi Setochi, Shiko Munakata, Masuo Ikeda, Matazo Kayama, Tamako Kataoka, Yasujiro Ozu, Fujio Fujiko, Rokusuke, etc.
In fact, when I saw the work directly in the gallery, it seemed that the atmosphere around the subject was captured, and I felt the photographer's spirit. I think this is something that you can't feel unless you see the work up close.
Also, beside each work, the memories of the novelists when the photographer took the photo were commented, and it was very interesting to know the unexpected side of those who are called literary writers. It was.
The event will be held from Monday, September 5 to November 4 (Fri), and the event will be held from 10 am to 6 pm Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are until 5:00 p.m.
Admission is free.
In addition, we received special consent for photography at the gallery. Thank you very much

See the website of the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association.
I was able to attend the "Foreign Hospitality Language Volunteer Hospitality Course".
This course was very popular, and I applied for a course hosted by Tokyo three times in the past, but all were lost.
The course was designed to bring out and refine communication skills, assuming simple directions on a case-by-case basis. Participants listened seriously to the course that also used slides.
Through role-playing with people before and after, I was inspired to talk, and I also awakened my thinking skills. The commemorative badge "May I help you?" Was attached to the hat immediately.
After attending this course, I decided to talk to foreigners more actively. .
And today, I told a couple from Germany aboard at Kachidokibashi in front of Akashicho and St. Luke Garden.
You can get information on various events on the website of the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association.
Why don't you visit it? http://www.chuo-ci.jp/

Currently, at Gallery Ginza in Ginza 2-chome, "Haruki Toku) Children's Painting Exhibition Hokkori World" Collaboration 4 "vol.3" is being held.
At the entrance of the gallery facing the street, a sun-like lion ("Rion Sun"!) The work of the moon (like a giraffe) is exhibited, and the power overflows from the work stops the feet of passers-by unintentionally.
When you enter, all the works on display will be bright, fun, energetic, and smile naturally.
Mr. Haruaki Takaharu, a children's painter and illustrator, seems to be holding an exhibition at Gallery Ginza once every two years.
It seems that this will be the 5th time.
Most works are painted with acrylic paint, but the texture of works that cannot be conveyed by my snapshots, such as works that mix sand with the base of canvas to give a three-dimensional effect and glittering works filled with Swarovski, is attractive.
If I thought I had seen this person somewhere before, it was an illustration of the year-end jumbo and summer jumbo lottery.
"Hokkori" in the subtitle "Hokkori World" is one of Kyoto's dialects, and it means "warm, relieved", but from the work of this exhibition, I received "Gatsuri" spirit I got
The whole venue seemed to be shining with the energy of Mr. Taka's work.
The exhibition hall was used not only on the first floor of Gallery Ginza but also on the second floor, and works were exhibited.
Perhaps because of the energy of the work, works of collaboration with people of various genres were also exhibited.
There is also a corner for picture books, goods, etc.
The event will be held from Monday, September 5 to 11 (Sun), and the time will be from 11 am to 7 pm The last day is until 5:00 p.m.
Please come and visit us once.
The photography in the gallery was specially approved by Mr. Takaharu. Thank you very much
