Keymono Sumika Exhibition [Megumi Ogita Gallery]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] July 18, 2017 14:00

koizu01.JPG

At the Megumi Ogita Gallery on the first basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building, Ginza 2-chome, Satoru Koizumi's "The House of Works-Kemono no Sumika" is being held.

koizu02.JPG

The period is from Friday, July 14 to 29 (Sat).

koizu03.JPG

The opening hours are from 11:00 to 19:00 from Tuesday to Saturday.

The museum will be closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays.

koizu04.JPG

This is the fourth solo exhibition by Satoru Koizumi at the Megumi Ogita Gallery, commemorating the publication of his first collection of works, "The House of Works-Kemono no Sumika" by Mr. Koizumi.

koizu05.JPG

Mr. Koizumi is currently expanding his activities to the world, with Okinawa as a base for production. He is one of the young sculptors who are expected to be more active in the future.

koizu06.JPG

It seems that all the wood carving works are camphor tree.

koizu07.JPG

The works on display at the venue are based on animals and humans, all of which have a fresh figure wearing an animal skin like a costume.

koizu08.JPG

At the same time as "Cuteness", his expression felt loneliness and anxiety, and it seemed to give the work a message.

I felt something like a lingering sound that was hard to leave before the work.

The outside is under the scorching sun and the gallery on the first basement floor is cool and quiet, and you can experience it as if you were stuck in a different space.

In addition, we received your consent for photography and coverage in the gallery. Thank you very much

The 33rd Noh Kinharu Festival is August 7th.

[Silver] July 16, 2017 09:00

While walking in Ginza, I saw a poster to guide the Noh Kinharu Festival.

On August 7 (Monday), there is a Noh parade from 6:00 p.m. The place is Ginza Kinharu-dori.

1499844767496.jpg

There is a panel explaining the "Kinharu Yashiki Ruins" street on Ginza 8-7-11. According to the book at hand

During the Edo period, Yotsuya of Kinharu, Kanze, Hosho, and Kongo worshiped a mansion in the current central area as a Noh actor directly under the Shogunate. Among them, the Kinharu family was a traditional family that flourished since the Muromachi period, and the mansion was equivalent to the current number 6-8 of Ginza 8-chome. Geisha, who are called Kinharu Geisha, gathered on the site. A woman who worked down at the Kinharu Yashiki is said to be the roots of the Kinharu Geisha, and gained popularity because she was familiar with art such as Nagauta, Jobanzu, Kouta, Hauta, and dance, and was also good at entertaining people, The surrounding area developed as a flower town. Noh is performed on the streets of Kinharu-dori every year on August 7th. (From Chuo-ku, which can be seen on foot)
