Visit the Tamino-jinja Shrine in Settsu Province

[wienerhorn] 12:00 on February 20, 2019

Tamino-jinja Shrine Torii jpg

Tsukuda Island was built by fishermen who invited Ieyasu Tokugawa from Tsukuda in Osaka to Edo. After that, Tsukuda Island also contributed to the construction of Tsukiji Honganji after the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era (1657), and Tsukuda Island occupies an important position in understanding the history of Chuo-ku. As one of the correspondents, I thought that I should burn my eyes on the roots of Tsukuda Island, so I extended my legs during my business trip to Osaka and visited Tsukuda in Nishiyodogawa Ward.
From Umeda, take the Hanshin train stop and get off at Chibune Station. Tamino Shrine is located in a corner of a quiet town. Although it is not a large precinct, when you step in, you can see that it is an important shrine loved by the area.

Toshogu Shrine. jpg

I heard that Ieyasu Tokugawa's Toshogu Shrine is on the precincts, but besides "Konpira Palace" (Mr. Kompira), "Shichi Shigeyuki Shrine" (Mr. Ise), "Inao Shrine" (Mr. Inari) etc. are enshrined.

Land related to Tsukuda fishermen. jpg

A monument that is closely related to the Tsukuda fishermen. There is also an explanation board that describes the relationship with Ieyasu and the origin of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine. There is also an explanation about the exchange between Osaka City Tsukuda Elementary School and Chuo City Tsukudajima Elementary School.

Zero Meter Zone. jpg

By the way, this area is in the zero-meter zone, and there was a sign next to the torii gate saying "-0.8m above sea level". Located in a lowland area protected by concrete dike. It was a journey that reminded me of the importance of flood control disaster while thinking about history.

Izukogen, Chuo-ku-so

[Silver Fox 007] 09:00 on February 20, 2019

February is in the middle of February, and the news of the flowers tell Haruchika in the cold.

One day, I went to Izu.

Atami cherry blossoms and Kawazu cherry blossoms will delight your eyes from the train window. Take a stroll along the Jogasaki coast. I think some of you have watched on TV a scene where reporters frightened across the suspension bridge over the cliff. You should have learned the term of geology as a high school, but you can only understand it when you look at the real thing, so you can admire and adult society tour.

Hashidate Suspension Bridge is a 25-minute walk from Izukyu Izu Kogen Station, and it is easy to understand because you can walk along the Taijima River. The river became a waterfall on the island and poured into the sea ... but the amount of water was small and it was not a waterfall. The promenade along the coast is well maintained and the explanation board is clean and easy to read. For pre-learning, the Ito Tourism Association website http://itospa.com/nature_park/np_zyogasaki/ was useful.

By the way, this is Izu Kogenso, Chuo-ku. You can use free shuttle bus from Izukyu Izu Kogen Station. With the sea behind, passing through a row of cherry trees with solid buds, climbing while looking at the garden of the villa where plums and Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom, you will arrive at a calm building.Izu Kogenso, Chuo-ku 01 for blog. JPG

For girls, you can choose from a yukata (there is also a child's size), and a chick decoration (stage decoration and hanging chicks) that feels the season will welcome you. Of course, the nice staff is the best!

The application for use is from the website https://www.city.chuo.lg.jp/sisetugaido/hoyou/izukogenso/izukogensonogoannai.html of Chuo-ku, and it is also available to the general public who does not live or work in the city. .

Please see here http://www.izukyucom.co.jp/chuoku/ for details on prices and inside the building.

This time, I came back without staying, but the location of Izu Highland-so, Ito City, is full of highlights. It is said that the Englishman Anjin Miura, who had a mansion in Chuo-ku, built a sailing ship at the order of Ieyasu Tokugawa, was at the mouth of the Matsukawa near Izukyu Ito Station, and an Anjin Festival will be held in August.

Based in Izu Highland-so, why not visit the history of plate tectonic, people and culture?

In addition, about photography in the hall and article publication, we had the consent of Izu Kogenso staff in Chuo-ku.

Chemical reaction of rakugo world! What is the new genre "Otaku Rakugo"?

[Hanes] 18:00 on February 19, 2019

Hello. I'm a new correspondent (Hanes).
The event was held on February 13 (Wednesday) at Kabukiza Gallery on the 5th floor of Kabukiza Tower.
I went to "Ginza Kibikitei Moe Yose Extra Edition-Otaku Rakugo at Kabukiza Gallery-by TOKYO KOBIKI LAB."

IMG_4291.JPG

It was my first time going to vaudeville, but it was a fusion of anime, manga and rakugo.
It was the first time I learned about the genre of "Otaku Rakugo"
My knowledge of anime, manga, and games was equal to zero, and I was very worried if I could understand it, but I thought that listening to rakugo in the new genre was a study, so I got off at Higashi-Ginza Station.

■Kabuki soba
The rakugo started at 19:00, so I said, “First of all, dinner...."I thought,
A famous shop "Kabuki Soba" that I learned from flowing through my friend's Instagram feed!
In this blog, former correspondent Tom Shimomachi introduced it,
It is located right behind Kabukiza Theater, so it is very convenient when you want to have a meal nearby.

IMG_4284.JPG

This is a meal ticket system, and I ordered "Morikakiage (470 yen)".
(The famous specialty is "Zaru Kakiage (490 yen)".)
It takes about 20 seconds to give a meal ticket to the shop, select a seat, and walk slowly to take off the coat.
The timing was good, so the side came out before I sat down.
If you are so skillful, it seems that Kabuki actors before the production can easily eat it.

DSC_3679.JPG thumbnail image

Soba is an amount that even women can eat without difficulty, and a large serving is possible for plus 70 yen!
It is rare to serve tempura, and there is a feeling unique to Kabuki soba.
Tempura mainly contains carrots, onions, and sweet potatoes.
I enjoyed the crispy texture if it was just freshly fried.
The last order will be at 18:15, so please be careful when using at night.

■Rooftop Garden
Even after dinner, there was still a little time before the opening,
I went to the rooftop garden of Kabukiza Theater (5th floor, free)
Although it is not known from the ground, it is a good place to relax with monuments, lanterns, cherry blossoms, chairs, etc.

IMG_4304.JPG

From the Goemon Stairway on the right side of the garden, you can see the tiled roof of Kabukiza up close.

IMG_4297.JPG
(The end of the stairs is "4th Floor Corridor-Kabukiza of Remembering".)

Many of you may know that phoenixes can be seen everywhere in Kabukiza, but
Have you ever heard about the "inverted phoenix" that makes you happy when you find it?

IMG_4295.JPG
(This is an ordinary phoenix [laughs].)

If you are interested, please see the article of senior correspondents Satsuki's Koi Blower and Akoba Peony for details.

I’ve only been to this garden during the day.
At night, the moon can be seen without being blocked by other buildings.
I was able to enjoy it at night.

IMG_4299.JPG

■Kabukiza Gallery
After opening, I met some correspondents and went to the back of the gallery while talking....
Not only is it a gallery, but you can learn about Kabuki,
You can see the costumes, props (such as butterflies attached to the tip of the difference), musical instruments, etc. used in Kabuki, and you can touch some of them!
There are some horses that cannot be crushed even if adults ride,
It is a very interesting spot where you can enjoy while experiencing Kuroi, Guardianship, and Kabuki actor.

■Ginza Kibikitei Moeyose Extra Edition ~Otaku Rakugo at Kabukiza Gallery ~ by TOKYO KOBIKI LAB.
There are three things I thought of as a beginner when I entered the room.
That means that Koza is higher than expected, Koza and seats are closer than expected, and the stage is more colorful (perhaps for a limited time) than expected.

On this stage, cypress boards and banners that were actually used in the predecessor Kabukiza Theater are used.
The Kabukiza Gallery is also for those who have never seen Kabuki or overseas.
It was made for the purpose of having people feel free to touch Kabuki.
These traditional things are also incorporated, so it is a spot for Kabuki fans to visit.

The preface has become longer, but this time, Harufutei Yoshiyoshi, who is also appearing in Nico Nico Douga, appears.
Rakugo, which incorporates from a shallow element to a very maniac one, is shown.
There was a lot of laughter in the audience!
Details will be omitted because it will be a story, but according to the explanation, there may be more than 5 types of anime and manga elements in one seat, etc.
As a characteristic or famous line,
Those who know, say, “I know, I know.”

On the other hand, in the case of a person who is not related to anime or manga like me,
Although it doesn't fit in the lines or character names, you can enjoy the story itself enough.
The last one was shown, "If the retired person of Kotobuki is a nerd....The setting is "
"When the classical rakugo is fused with modern culture, it evolves so much and has bulge!"
Rather, it was a composition that impressed me, and I thought this was a chemical reaction in the rakugo world.
In order for the younger generation to be interested in rakugo,
I thought there was such an idea.

In addition, those who appeared during the recoloration of Shunfutei Yoshiyoshi have a background in which they can't find anything in common with traditional performing arts.
It was impressive that the episodes about his career were linked to laughter well.

This time, in addition to rakugo, there is also an interesting talk show with popular voice actor Kentaro Tone,
You can listen to the voice actor's work and the story that was synchronized with a famous actor at the university.
As I learned, it was a very valuable experience.
Taking this opportunity, Kabuki, Rakugo, Noh, puppet ballad drama, etc.
I would like to experience the traditional performing arts that represent Japan!

Hotel Situations in Chuo-ku

[Tom downtown] 10:00 on February 19, 2019

Ginza Capital Moeki _ 201902_R.jpgThe number of tourists visiting Japan from overseas continues to increase. In response to the so-called increase in inbound demand, new hotels are continuing in Tokyo.
Chuo-ku has many attractions to see, and it is an attractive area as a gourmet town, so of course, demand for accommodation is increasing.
Since existing hotels cannot respond, new hotels are openings in the ward.
Hotel Keihan _ 20190217_R.jpg
Tsukiji originally had a number of hotels because there are many foreign tourists visiting wholesale markets and out-of-the-box markets, but new hotels are still open recently. Each has its own characteristics, and it is also nice to be able to choose according to the needs of the guests.

There are also large rooms where you can stay in groups and hotels with connecting rooms. There is also an aim to meet diverse accommodation needs.
Ginza Capital Moeki _ 201902(3)_R.jpg
However, these hotels seem to be quite buried. It is a convenient location for businessmen visiting on business trips, so you can nod.

I'm wondering what will happen to the hotel situation in Chuo-ku ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
