"Coloring Rinpa Chuo-ku" @ Kyobashi, Tsukiji & Yaesu

[Nanako Tsukishima] Nov. 7, 2015 12:00

In Kyoto, "Coloring the Rimpakyo" exhibition is being held. IMG_5392.JPG

The other day, the number of visitors reached 100,000, and it was a great success.

Until November 8, Sotatsu Tawaraya, Kourin Ogata, and Hoitsu Sakai
It is said that you can see 3 works of Fengjin Raijin figure folding screens at the same time.

I'm sure it's amazing.

By the way, let's think about Hoitsu Sakai, the founder of Edo Rinpa, which is related to Chuo-ku.

Huichi was born as the second son of Himeji feudal lord in 1761 in the late Edo period. The sorrow of the second son of the samurai became familiar with haikai and painting from a young age.

Paintings were unraveled by the Kano Nakabashi family and expanded their world.

The Kano Nakabashi family was one of Yotsuya Kano, who was a master painter of Edo shogunate.

If it was next to the Hiroshige Utagawa residence, it is described in the explanation version of "Hiroshige Utagawa residence site" at Kyobashi 1-chome.

I went home at the age of 37. In addition, he established his own style of painting with Kourin Ogata.
Rimpa, a splendid decorative painting method of Kyoto, has been completed as a stylish and elegant Edo Rinpa unique to Edo. He died at the age of 68, but his grave is located at Tsukiji Honganji Temple and is a historic site on the grounds.

By the way, if you say that the exhibition in Kyoto is difficult in time, we recommend the "Kyoto Museum" in Yaesu.

We also sell Rimpa goods. Why don't you stop by once?
This is exactly the "real Kyoto" you can meet in Yaesu.

"Nichigin Experience 2015" in Marugoto Museum 2015

[Silver] Nov. 6, 2015 20:00

I've been to "Nichigin Experience 2015", one of the events of the whole museum 2015, so I will report it.
The building of the Bank of Japan has been designated as an important cultural property of Japan, and is designed by Dr.
The Nichigin Experience has a special exhibition that does not require reservations, in addition to the very popular "Citizen Course with Mini Tour".

This time, I saw a special exhibition that does not require reservations. "The Bank of Japan of Your Town"

"About the work of the Bank of Japan's branches"

The Bank of Japan's Response to the Great East Japan Earthquake

There are "proof of counterfeiting bills", "experience of lifting 100 million yen with bills", and "experience of lifting a gold lump". It seems that it is.

There was also a commemorative photo corner. In the Meiji era, horses were used to transport money, so there was also a drinking fountain for that horse.

What is important in what you have learned:
①The Bank of Japan is 55% owned by the government and is a major shareholder. The remaining 45% is owned by the private and general public.
②Bills burned in a fire may be redeemed at the Bank of Japan even if they become ashes. Even if it is wrapped in a band, it seems that one piece is counted with tweezers and one piece is prepared for cash.

We accept tours even during normal times. For more information, please visit the website of the Bank of Japan.

The Money Museum will be reopened on November 21st (Sat).

Shintomiza Children's Kabuki in Ginza

[CAM] Nov. 6, 2015 18:00

On November 3, I saw "Shintomiza Children's Kabuki" held at Ginza Taimei Elementary School.

There were a considerable number of spectators, and the seats were full.

To be honest, I thought, "It's a children's school festival," but why was it quite full-fledged. I'm an elementary school student in Chuo-ku.

The difference from the real thing is that girls also appear and do not adopt a women's style. Well, is this a matter of course?

Shintomiza Children's Kabuki in AUTUMN GINZA 2015

[Silver] Nov. 6, 2015 18:00

"Shintomiza Children's Kabuki AUTUMN GINZA 2015" was held grandly and luxuriously on November 3 in the school grounds of Yasuaki Elementary School.

Sponsored by the Ginza Town Planning Conference, the whole Ginza Association, sponsorship is Shochiku Co., Ltd., Kabukiza Co., Ltd., and the Ginza Subcommittee Post Office (10 post offices such as Ginza Nishi Post Office and Ginza Miyuki Tori Post Office) It was sponsored.

At the beginning, a greeting was given by Keisuke Okamoto, the chairman of the entire Ginzakai Town Planning Committee, and a special guest, Tomoemon Otani, and a message of encouragement was given to the children performing Kabuki.

And a good mouth was mentioned, and the people around me were also impressed.

The performance of "Sannin Yoshimi Shiranami Okawabata Koshinzuka" will be performed.

According to the commentary provided in today's program, the outline is:

On the night of Setsubun, Oose came to Okawabata to look for him with a hundred cars that his guests had forgotten last night.

However, her daughter in a kimono that appeared there was deprived of one hundred cars and fell into the river. The daughter was Yoshizo, a thief girl dressed as a woman.

The young lady also robbed the sword from Taroemon, who witnessed the scene, and was intoxicated by the goodness of her neck tonight.

It was seen from the shadow of the thief, Yoshizo Bo. In 100 cars, they will be a game of skill.

It was also the thief Yoshizo Kazuo who stopped.

Eventually, they were impressed by the masculinity of Kazuo and wished to become brothers.

Kazuo responded to the feelings of the two, and the three thieves of the same name, Yoshizo, decided to give a hard blood cup.

All three of the performers were well-passed, cleared, and really cool.

The next one performed was the familiar "Shiranami Five Men's Inasegawa Sesame Place".

Each person gave his name, was able to find it with a voice that passed well, and was impressed.

Also, the catchers are cute children and I wanted to be caught.

After the performance, a special guest, Tomoemon Otani, sent praise and encouragement. The children will work harder to practice further and refine their arts.

It is a famous scene in the history of Kabuki. If you missed this time, don't miss it next year.

Fankel Ginza Square, Ginza 5-chome Chuo-dori, Tokyo.

In the Royal Room on the 10th floor, the garden was filled with roses.

The density of roses is so great that it is really elegant.

It's soothing.
