The second GINZA autumn flower garden "Autumn Rose Garden 2015" has opened at the salon space "Royal Room" with terrace on the 10th floor of FANCL Ginza Square (Ginza 5).

Autumn roses color the aerial garden 40m above the ground for 8 days.

In commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the founding, the announcement of a new rose (in the upper left circle image) for which FANCL has acquired naming rights and a "name" that was decided by a vote from customers.

Its name is "Eternal Beauty" which means "eternal beauty" in the flower language of roses.

From pale orange to coral pink, the subtle color gradation is likely to show various expressions from buds to full bloom.

During the period, on October 31 (13: 30-, 15: 00-), a demonstration of flower arrangement by Yusuke Ebe will be held on November 1 (13: 30-, 15: 00-), Mr. Satoshi Murakami's talk event is organized.

In the midst of the soft autumn sunshine, this year we met fragrant and colorful roses.

On an autumn night, enjoy "Nya-(Negima-nabe)" at Yoshiume

[Nojinya] Nov. 4, 2015 09:00

It's getting colder day by day. There are many days when I return home late at night, but after a long absence, I decided to have dinner with a friend working in Ningyocho. Because of the warm seasonal pattern, I decided to eat "leek manave" at the suggestion of a friend. Well, in fact, I haven't heard about this dish until I was invited by a friend this time, and what is "Negima" using the meeting time? I checked it.

Then, a story about rakugo called "Negima no Tono" comes out. This is a story that the 5th generation Kokontei Imasuke, a rakugo artist, was good at.

The lord, who took his servant and went out to the snow viewing of Mukaijima, was caught by the smell of a boiled shop lined up in Hirokoji (Ueno) while the north wind of Tsukuba grated in midwinter blows, and said that it was a lower food. When I didn't listen to the voice of the servant, I sat in a soy sauce barrel and eat a tuna pot. The small pot, which came out in front of the palace where "Negima" was heard as "Nya ~" in the early mouth of a monk at the store, contains green onions in a slice of tuna mixed with bones and blood, and looks like a three-colored cat. If you eat it, the core of the green onion jumps in your mouth like a gun.

The lord who returned to the mansion wants to eat that "Nya-", and Rutayu (culinary clerk) can't hear what "Nya-" is, but listens to the story from Santayu. I understand that it is a green onion pot.

However, it is not possible to give the food of the common people to the lord as it is, and if the tuna and green onions are carefully prepared, the lord is completely convinced that "this is not a Nya". Rutayu can't help but recreate pigtails with ingredients similar to green onions and boiled shops. The lord was very happy and said, "Rutayu, it's not fun to sit down. I have a soy sauce barrel."≫

My friend has arrived here, so I will go through the Geisha Shindo next to Daikanonji and head to the Yoshi Umemoto store. yosiume3.jpgGeisha Shindo retains the former Geisha Okeya in Hanamachi, and the streets such as Kikuya and Yoshiume, a model of "Matsuya" in the drama "Shinjin", create the Edo atmosphere. When you enter the store while stepping on the paving stones, you will be guided to a parlor where the structure of the former hut remains as it is.

Yoshiume, who lived in Yoshicho, was founded in 1927, so it is called "Yoshiume", and as expected, wild dishes such as "Don-sama" tasted at Hirokoji did not come out However, I warmed up with a tuna and green onion just "Negion hot pot".yosiume1.jpg

yosiume2.jpgIn addition to the main store we visited this time, there is Yoshiume Yoshicho-tei on the same geisha Shindo, which was designated as a registered Tangible Cultural Property and was also the residence of actress Kogiku Hanayagiku. yosiume4.jpg[Yoshi Umemoto store]

"Kojunsha Street"

[CAM] Nov. 3, 2015 20:00

In this "Marugoto Museum" bus route, we explored a little bit of "Kojunsha Street" that crosses at Ginza 6-7 chome on Sotobori-dori St. and Showa-dori.

The name "Kojunsha" was established by Yukichi Fukuzawa in 1880 (Meiji 13) and is Japan's first membership social club for politicians and business owners. The name of Kojunsha was derived from Yukichi Fukuzawa's slogan, "Exchange knowledge and consult about social affairs."
The old building was completely destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 (Daisho 12), and in 1929 (Showa 4), the complex building was rebuilt as the second generation clubhouse building.
After 70 years, it was decided to rebuild due to aging and earthquake resistance, and it was dismantled in 2002, and the current Kojun building opened in October 2004. The 1st to 5th floors of the basement will be the commercial facility "Kojun Building DININGS & STORES", shops such as "Bedding Order Shop IWATA Ginza Store", and restaurants such as "Akasaka Rikyu" and "Ningyocho Imahan Ginza Store" are occupied. The 6th to 8th floors are offices, and the 9th and 10th floors are Kojunsha.
According to the company's website, Barneys New York was founded in 1923 by Bernie Presman on 7th Street 17th Street in Manhattan, and now it has 30 stores (including CO-OP and outlet stores) in the United States, including the 6th store in Japan (including the 5th store in Japan, including the 6th store in Japan) and the 1st store in September 1 in Japan.

"Bedding tailoring store IWATA Ginza Store" is the first directly managed store in Tokyo in Iwata, a long-established bedding store in Kyoto that has been making bedding since the first year of Tempo (1830) in Kyoto for 180 years.

"Monoshiri Encyclopedia" introduces this third-generation building as "a smart measure of using a part of the facade at the main entrance that makes you feel the architectural beauty of the time in the new building" (page 63).

"Miyuki Street"

[CAM] Nov. 3, 2015 18:00

In this "Marugoto Museum" bus route, we explored a little bit of "Miyuki-dori" that crosses at Ginza 5-6 chome on "Sotobori-dori St." and "Showa-dori".

Located at the border between Ginza 5-chome and 6-chome, Miyuki-dori connects Shimbashi Enbujo in Tsukiji with Hibiya Park in Yurakucho.
It is said that the name was derived from the fact that during the Meiji era Emperor Meiji went to the Naval Academy, Naval University, etc. (Miyuki) during the Meiji era, and when he entered Hamarikyu, this street was designated as a Yukichi route, so one day it was called Miyuki Street.

A display board that describes the origin of the street name listed at Yasuaki Elementary School.

Later, in the 1960s, young people who adopted Ibeelic gathered and walked around Miyuki Street, creating the name of the "Miyuki tribe". They were just hanging out, but from the conflict with the store side and the policy of avoiding confusion for the Tokyo Olympics, it evolved into a turmoil such as simultaneous elimination by the Tsukiji Police Station, and the name "Miyuki Street" became widely known along with the social phenomenon of "Miyuki tribe".

Construction site of Miharabashi Underground Shopping Center

[CAM] Nov. 3, 2015 16:00

Currently, the site of the Miharabashi underground shopping mall is under construction, but an explanatory photo of Ginza's famous places etc. is posted in the enclosure as "Ginza exploration".

It is located on both sides of Harumi-dori St., not only on the side facing the street, but also on the back side, so it's a considerable amount in total. I would like to introduce some of them.
