[Asunaro] 09:00 on March 4, 2019

Higashifubuki Kabakaba Nioukoseyo
I forget the spring with no plum blossoms.

 Kameido Torii 400.jpg

Red plums and white plums bloom in Kameido Tenjin in Koto-ku.
The precincts are wrapped in a slight scent of plums.

By the way, there is Mototoku Inari Shrine in the concurrent shrine of Kameido Tenjin.

He was enshrined as a ujigami of the Kawamura family in Mikawa Province.
At the beginning, along with the opening of Edo, Tokuemon-cho along the Kanda River.
After the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era, he was transferred to the headquarters.
Shrines are also relocated.

People who worship constantly think about many worship services,
The current location from the residence (near 3-chome Sannobashi Bridge, Tachikawa, Sumida-ku)
I'm here.

At the invitation of Hosokawa, a ghost was sent to Nihonbashi-hama-cho, Chuo-ku.
Mototoku Inari Shrine Tsunashiki Temma Shrine, which is enshrined, is enshrined.

Hall cake in Dalloyau

[Map★] 18:00 on March 3, 2019

Last year, Dalloyau Ginza Main Store closed,
In Ginza, you can only buy it at Mitsukoshi.

Birthday cake in December 2018
I tried to call Dalloyau.

Speaking of hall cake in Dalloyau, the tent worm coxinel is famous,
What other hall cake is there for people at Ginza Mitsukoshi shop?
I asked him what a chessboard cake is.
When I looked it online, it was so cute, so I did this.

By the way, chessboard in French
It is called l'echiquier Recikier, and this is the name of the cake.

Milk, dark and white chocolate in the shape of a chess piece is also fashionable.

daro2.JPG

It's not too sweet, it's like a cake for adults!
That's Dalloyau.
Even though it is a whole cake, I am surprised at the price of 3240 yen!

Every year, various patissier Christmas cakes,
7,000 yen is not so delicious.
I thought it was very expensive.

Kawazu cherry blossoms that bloomed this year

[Blowing of Koi in Satsuki] 12:00 on March 3, 2019

At the beginning of February, snow fell in Tokyo, but this year it seems that it is a warm winter, and warm days increased near March, and Kawazu cherry blossoms at Shinkawa Park and Chuo-ohashi Bridge began to bloom.

I often go through this area, so I am worried about it, but in mid-February after the snow falls, the buds bulge and bloom on the 17th as shown in the photo. This cherry tree blooms early for about a month and has a slightly dark shade.
The next blooming is the cherry blossoms of Eitai Bridge Nishizume, followed by the cherry blossoms of Tsukuda Park and Shinkawa Park.
It is a good time to walk around the Sumida River Terrace in the coming season.

By the way, Chuo-ohashi Bridge, which came to question this year's certification, was completed in 1993.

Instagrammable ◎! Feel free to feel Newyorker

[Hanes] 09:00 on March 3, 2019

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
At the end of the year, I went to this place to digest the remaining holidays!

NY.jpg

An impressive night view with dense high-rise buildings, warehouses that are used for new applications after renovation,
Artistic cup coffee, relaxing waterfront...
Yes, this is New York, including Manhattan and Brooklyn!
...That's not why I went around a place like New York in Chuo-ku.

■First of all
First of all, I thought, "What's New York like?"
I looked at the topography and geography of New York.
I haven't been to the United States yet, but I remember seeing the footage of accessing the Statue of Liberty by ferry,
I thought that the waterfront was substantial like Chuo-ku.

When you say waterfront in Chuo-ku, Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, Harumi area!
So I compared a part of it with Manhattan Island in New York....
Isn't the shape and geographical conditions of the island similar?

Chuo_NY.jpg
(* Please note that the scale is not unified.)

This common point is that the cat on the hill, a senior correspondent, also wrote,
I thought the impression I had wasn't a mistake.

■Night view
When you say the night view of Manhattan, it is a skyscraper.
The dense skyscrapers that have just reached the sky will be a masterpiece if you see them live.
Then, when you call it a skyscraper in Chuo-ku....
After all, isn't it a group of tower apartments in Tsukuda?

IMG_4592.JPG
(Shooted from Eitai Bridge in the setting of the toy camera style that has recently been hooked up)

Compared to the home, the shape and density of the building are slightly different, but the look is ◎!
This scene is also known as “Little Manhattan.”
Eitai Bridge is currently under construction, as written by Satsuki's Koibuki-ryushi, but
When the construction is completed, I would like to go to shoot this "Little Manhattan" over the illuminated bridge.

■Warehouse renovation
In New York, we have renovated our warehouse in recent years.
There is a district that has been reborn stylishly from an industrial atmosphere.
That's DUMBO (Dumbo)
There are galleries, boutiques, cafes, etc., which are attracting attention from Japan and overseas.

Although the exterior is different, even in Chuo-ku, the warehouse has been renovated like DUMBO,
Efforts to use them have been seen for a while.
In Toyomi, the warehouse is a studio, and in Tsukishima it is a gallery or restaurant.
For the Tokyo 2020 Games, I feel like I'm going to buy a lot of new bustle.

IMG_4617.JPG
(Warehouse located in Tsukishima)

■Specialty coffee
Japanese coffee is served by American coffee chains such as Starbucks.
Like the "Third Wave Coffee" that was often heard a while ago,
It is no exaggeration to say that it is greatly influenced by the United States.

Therefore, what I would like to recommend this time is on the 2nd floor of Harumi Island Triton Square.
The Brooklyn Roasting Company
Since it opened in Brooklyn in 2010, it offers eco-friendly coffee.
This shop is highly valued by Newyorker

The flagship of such a coffee shop is located in Kitahama, Osaka,
It is being developed mainly in Osaka, but the only store in Tokyo is located in Harumi.

IMG_2737.JPG
(Photo taken at the terrace seat of the flagship Kitahama store)

The scenery of the waterside enjoyed in Kitahama is the same as in Harumi.
This time, I had an M of drip coffee (Ethiopian Natural).
With the fragrance of blueberry, it's elegant,
When I drink it with care, unlike the coffee I’ve drunk before,
I think it was an elegant taste because there was no habit and easy to drink.

IMG_4643.JPG

In addition to coffee, you can also enjoy American baked goods and bagels from nearby shops.

IMG_4653.JPG

We also sell coffee beans, drip coffee, and goods from this shop.
I bought a blend of drip coffee that I was interested in for work.
Although it is not as popular as street art in Brooklyn, the packaging has a high design and the tension increases!

Brooklyn.jpg

Also, if you buy 10 cups, there is a nice card (lower left of the photo) that makes the 11th cup free.
If you like coffee, please try it.
Free Wi-Fi is available and open from 8:00 in the morning, so it is easy for nearby workers.
If you commute to work with a drink born in Brooklyn, you will feel a little Newyorker feeling.

■Waterfront
As you can see from the geography introduced at the beginning, the view of the waterfront is also available.
Isn't it one of New York City?
So, I came to Harumi Passenger Terminal, which was ranked in the TOP 20 in TripAdvisor's "Popular Date Spots" ranking.
The scenery and night view at dusk are recommended, but you can enjoy it enough during the day.

IMG_4630.JPG
(It's not Chuo-ku, but you can see Rainbow Bridge)

Public art reflected upside down on the surface of the water is also worth a look.
By the time you come here, you can also see the construction site of the Olympic athlete village.
Why don't you stop by while watching the scenery that can only be seen now?

IMG_4625.JPG
(The white bird feathers in the foreground are charming)

If you are familiar, you will know that it is the scenery from the Harumi Passenger Terminal,
For those who see it for the first time, I think, “Oh, it looks like New York!”

■At the end
It is a place like New York in Chuo-ku,
Beginning with topography and geographical comparison, Tsukuda Tower Apartments, Tsukishima Warehouse,
We introduced the Brooklyn Roasting Company and Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal.
Of course, it's not true, but if you want to feel the uniqueness of New York easily,
Isn't there such a way of fun?
