Sukiyabashi Park in Winter Night

[The Minnie Cricket] 18:00 on January 24, 2019

kimi201901.JPG

It is a municipal park located right next to the Sukiyabashi intersection in Ginza 5-chome

It is said that Sukiya Bridge was built for the first time in Edo-jo Castle during the Edo period, and a stone monument stands to prove it.

kimi201902.JPG

It has been renewed at the same time with Tokyu Plaza Ginza, which opened in 2016, and has become an oasis of Ginza.

kimi201904.JPG

Now there are no blooming flowers, deciduous tree drops leaves and planting feels lonely, but there is a lit up tower behind the park.

"Young Clock Tower" by Taro Okamoto.

The building seen behind the tower is Yasuaki Elementary School

kimi201903.JPG

On the front of the stone monument facing Harumi-dori St. in this park, there is an inscription on "Sukiya Bridge here" by playwright and lyricist Kazuo Kikuta, and on the back the history of Sukiya Bridge is described.

kimi201905.JPG

Now, if you say "Your name is", it is an anime (released in 2016, a feature-length animated movie directed by Makoto Shinkai), but the original () "Your name is" was an NHK radio drama broadcast in the 1950s (). At that time, it dominated the world.

Sukiyabashi is the original "Your Name" (written by Kazuo Kikuta) that appears in important scenes (passing each other, reunion).

It is said that there is a legend that the female bath of the public bath was empty during the broadcast time.

The park that drinks in Ginza on a winter night and goes on the way to Yurakucho Station is a good feeling.

mts201901.JPG

Finally, the last year of Heisei is over, and in May of this year, a special exhibition of photographs is being held suitable for the timing of the start of the first year with the new era.

mts201902.JPG

Tsuneko Sasamoto and Takeyoshi Tanuma photo exhibition "Living in the Meiji, Taisho era, and Showa era" is being held at the Noevia Ginza Gallery on the first floor of the Noevia Ginza Building, which faces Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St.

mts201903.JPG

The period is from Tuesday, January 15 to March 22 (Friday).

The event is from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, but it is until 5:00 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

mts201904.JPG

This is a photo exhibition by two photographers, Tsuneko Sasamoto is the first photo exhibition at this gallery, but Takeyoshi Tanuma has been exhibited several times so far.

mts201905.JPG

Mr. Sasamoto was Japan's first female press photographer, and Mr. Tanuma was also president of the Japan Photographers Association (1995-2015), and both of them photographed many portraits of various houses engraved with the times.

mts201906.JPG

Haruko Sugimura (actress)

The reason why these two were selected this time is that they were photographed many cultural figures through the camera and as witnesses of the times, and both of them are still alive while they are old.

mts201907.JPG

Morikazu Kumagai (painter)

The aim of this photo exhibition itself is to look back on those eras at the beginning of the last year of the Heisei era through portraits of 22 cultural figures from the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras.

mts201908.JPG

The subjects appearing in the work include Shiko Munakata (plate painter), Noriko Awaya (singer), Osamu Takizawa (actor), May Ushiyama (beautician), Kunio Yanagida (folkologist), Sadako Sawamura (actress), and others who lived in their respective fields and made a period of time.

Walk on the Kamejima River Green Road in Winter Night

[The Minnie Cricket] 14:00 on January 17, 2019

I took a walk on the Kamejima River Green Road, which I mentioned in this blog before, on a cold winter night.

ryok201901.JPG

The Kamejima River Green Road is a highly hydrophilic green road that utilizes the waterside of the Kamejima River, which was developed along Teppozu Street in 2016.

ryok201902.JPG

It is built facing the river from Takahashi over the Kamejima River to Minami Takahashi, and you can walk while looking at the high-rise apartments in Takahashi, Minami Takahashi, Tsukuda.

ryok201903.JPG

At night, as you can see, you can enjoy the illumination of the bridge.

ryok21904.JPG

Green road facilities include slopes, observation decks, benches, simple docks, etc., which are short distances, but varied.

ryok201905.JPG

Without the wind, a winter night walk is pretty good.

Winter morning pigeon [Sakuragawa Park]

[The Minnie Cricket] 13:00 on January 17, 2019

It is a morning state of Sakuragawa Park in the middle of the cold day.

fkr201901.JPG

This park is a rest spot that represents Hatchobori, and as the name suggests, it is full of many cherry blossom viewing visitors in the spring. Unfortunately, now in winter, cherry trees are in a state of rest with all the leaves removed.

fkr201902.JPG

Here a lot of pigeons shrug their necks, feathers are rounded, and still cold.

fkr201903.JPG

On the morning of December last year, I saw the same scene at Tsukiji River Ginza Park and introduced it on my blog.

fkr201904.JPG

The title of the blog at that time was "Fukura Sparrow" from the impression of "Fukura Sparrow", but when I saw exactly the same scene, it seems that I endure the cold every year at this time, and the pigeons who couldn't move with closed eyes became irritated

Tasty sashimi set meal [Tsukiji Fujimura]

[The Minnie Cricket] 12:00 on January 16, 2019

"Tsukiji Fujimura" on the basement floor of the EURO Building at Tsukiji 2-chome.

I went to lunch at the recommendation of a regular and gourmet colleague here.

fjmr201901.JPG

The business hours were from 11:30, and we arrived at 45 minutes on the day, but we were already waiting for three people.

It's a popular shop.

fjmr201902.JPG

I was able to sit after waiting for a while, so I ordered a limited menu "Tuna falling down / half serving of brain sting" set meal

Half size is enough volume

fjmr201903.JPG

"Tuna fall" was soft, sweet, fresh and delicious.

fjmr201904.JPG

"Braintensashi" is like a big toro with a large piece of fat on board. However, I like this brain stabbing better than Daitoro

The reception of the shop is also quick, so I feel good.

fjmr201905.JPG

The "half plate of tuna dropping and brain stabbing" that I ate today was very delicious, but this shop has a reputation for being "Kakifuri" (colleague ordered here) is also very delicious, so next time I would like to eat it by all means I think

Sicily restaurant in Ginza 4-chome [Cantina Sicily Natut Ilmare]

[The Minnie Cricket] 14:00 on January 15, 2019

It is "Cantina Siciliana Tutto Il Mare" of Italian and Sicily cuisine at Ginza 4-chome.

sicili201902.JPG

The building of the shop has a flag of Sicily.

sicili201907.jpg

This shop starts at 11:30, and today we visited for lunch (last order 15:00).

Sunday is also open.

Choose Pasta Lunch A course for lunch menu

sicili21904.JPG

First, assorted appetizers and homemade bread

Each of the three appetizers is delicious, and the bread is sticky and the aroma is good.

sicili201905.JPG

The pasta we chose was "Hiroshima oysters and Shimonita leek oil sauce Tagliorini" in large quantities.

Tariolini is a thin, flat noodles, and this raw pasta is well tangled with sauce and smooth.

Oysters and green onions go well even in Italian.

Coffee after meals

sicili201901.jpg

I also enjoyed talking with the owner of the shop from Capri Isles.

There is no mistake in lunch rotation
