Sukiyabashi Park in winter night

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 24, 2019 18:00

kimi201901.JPG

It is a municipal park right next to Ginza 5-chome, Sukiyabashi intersection.

It is said that there was Sukiya Bridge, which was built for the first time in Edo Castle during the Edo period, and a stone monument to prove it stands.

kimi201902.JPG

It has been renewed at the same time as Tokyu Plaza Ginza, which opened in 2016, and has become an oasis-like entity in Ginza.

kimi201904.JPG

Now there are no blooming flowers and deciduous tree drops leaves and plants look lonely, but there is a lit-up tower behind the park.

"Young Clock Tower" by Taro Okamoto.

The building seen behind the tower is Yasuaki Elementary School.

kimi201903.JPG

On the front of the stone monument facing Harumi-dori St. in this park, there is an inscription of "Sukiyabashi here" by playwright and lyricist Kazuo Kikuta, and on the back, the history of Sukiyabashi is described.

kimi201905.JPG

Now, if you say "Your name", it is an anime (released in 2016, a feature-length animated movie directed by Makoto Shinkai), but the original () "Your name" was broadcast in the 1950s () NHK radio drama, and at that time it dominated the world.

It is Sukiyabashi that appears in important scenes (passing, reunion) in the original "Your name is" (written by Kazuo Kikuta).

It seems that there is a legend that the public bath has become empty during broadcast time.

The park that drinks in Ginza on a winter night and passes on the way to Yurakucho Station feels good.

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 23, 2019 12:00

mts201901.JPG

Finally, the last year of the Heisei era has begun, and in May of this year, a special photo exhibition suitable for the timing of the start of the first year with a new era is being held.

mts201902.JPG

Tsuneko Sasamoto and Takeyoshi Tanuma photo exhibition "Living the Meiji, Taisho era, Showa eras" is being held at the Noevia Ginza Gallery on the first floor of the Noevia Ginza Building facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St.

mts201903.JPG

The period is from Tuesday, January 15 to March 22 (Friday).

The holding time is from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, but on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it is until 5:00 pm

mts201904.JPG

This is a photo exhibition by two photographers, Tsuneko Sasamoto is the first photo exhibition at this gallery, but Takeyoshi Tanuma has been exhibited several times so far.

mts201905.JPG

Mr. Sasamoto was Japan's first female news photographer, and Mr. Tanuma was also the chairman of the Japan Photographers Association (1995-2015), both of whom have photographed many portraits of various houses that have carved the times.

mts201906.JPG

Haruko Sugimura (Actress)

The reason why these two were selected this time was that both of them were photographed as witnesses of the times through cameras, and both of them were elderly and alive. It seems that they are active.

mts201907.JPG

Morikazu Kumagai (painter)

The aim of this photo exhibition itself is to look back on those eras at the beginning of the last year of Heisei through portraits of 22 cultural figures from the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras.

mts201908.JPG

The subjects in the work include Shiko Munakata (plate painter), Noriko Awaya (singer), Osamu Takizawa (actor), May Ushiyama (beautician), Kunio Yanagida (folker), Sadako Sawamura (actresser), etc. Only those who have lived for a period in each field and created a period of time.

mts201909.JPG

This is a special exhibition suitable for thinking about the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras at this time.

Please come to the venue.

mts201910.JPG

In addition, we received your consent regarding the photography in the gallery, and explained the purpose of this photo exhibition.

Walking on the Kamejima River Green Road in Winter Night

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 17, 2019 14:00

We took a walk on the Kamejima River Green Road, which we have introduced in this blog before, on a cold winter night.

ryok201901.JPG

The Kamejima River Green Road is a highly hydrophilic green road that took advantage of the waterside of the Kamejima River, which was developed along Tepposhu Street in 2016.

ryok201902.JPG

It is made facing the river from Takahashi over the Kamejima River to Minami Takahashi, and you can walk while looking at Takahashi, Minami Takahashi, Tsukuda's high-rise apartments.

ryok201903.JPG

At night, as you can see, you can enjoy the lit-up of the bridge.

ryok21904.JPG

Green roads include slopes, view decks, benches, simple docks, etc., and although it is a short distance, it is rich in variety.

ryok201905.JPG

If there is no wind, a winter night walk is quite good.

Winter morning pigeons [Sakuragawa Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 17, 2019 13:00

It is the morning of Sakuragawa Park in Sakuragawa Park as the cold days continue.

fkr201901.JPG

This park is a resting spot representing Hatchobori, and as the name suggests, it is full of cherry blossom visitors in spring. Unfortunately, in winter, all the cherry trees are closed with all the leaves removed.

fkr201902.JPG

Here a lot of pigeons are sucking their necks, feathers and rounding up, and still over the cold.

fkr201903.JPG

On the morning of December of last year, I saw the same sight at Tsukiji River Ginza Park and introduced it on a blog.

fkr201904.JPG

The title of the blog at that time was "fly pigeons" from the impression of "fly sparrows", but when I saw exactly the same scene, every year at this time, I thought that I was enduring the cold in this way, The pigeons who closed and couldn't move became messy.

Delicious sashimi set meal [Tsukiji Fujimura]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 16, 2019 12:00

This is "Fujimura Tsukiji" on the first basement floor of the EURO Building, Tsukiji 2-chome.

I went to lunch at the recommendation of a regular and gourmet colleague here.

fjmr201901.JPG

The business hours were from 11:30 and arrived at 45 minutes on the day, but we were already waiting for three people.

As expected, it's a popular shop.

fjmr201902.JPG

I was able to wait for a while and sat down, so I ordered a limited menu "Turuna drop / Brain Tensashi Half" set meal.

Half size is enough.

fjmr201903.JPG

"Turuna dropout" was soft, sweet, fresh and delicious.

fjmr201904.JPG

"Brain Tensashi" is like a large toro with a large piece of fat. However, I like this brain stabbing better than Daitoro

The reception of the shop is also quick and comfortable.

fjmr201905.JPG

The “Tuna Middlefall / Brain Tensashi Half” I ate today was very delicious, but this shop has a reputation for being “Kaki Fly” (coworkers order this here) is also very delicious, so I would like to eat here next time I think

Sicily restaurant in Ginza 4-chome [Cantina Citiriana Tutille Mare]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 15, 2019 14:00

It is "Cantina Siciliana Tutto Il Mare", an Italian and Sicily dish of Ginza 4-chome, "Cantina Siciliana Tutto Il Mare".

sicili201902.JPG

The building of the shop has a Sicily state flag.

sicili201907.jpg

This shop starts at 11:30, and today we visited for lunch (last order 15:00).

It's open on Sunday too.

Select pasta lunch A course in the lunch menu

sicili21904.JPG

First of all, assorted appetizers and homemade bread

Each of the three appetizers is delicious, the bread is sticky, and the taste is good.

sicili201905.JPG

The selected pasta is "Hiroshima oysters and Shimonita leek oil sauce Tariolini" with a large scale.

Tariolini is a thin flat noodles, and this raw pasta is well entangled with sauce and good throat.

Oysters and green onions go well in Italian.

Coffee after meals

sicili201901.jpg

I also enjoyed talking with the owner of the shop from Kapri Island.

There is no doubt that there is a lunch rotation.
