Cheese Fondue Shop ★CHEZ MACIO

[Mapo ★] January 15, 2018 12:00

Restaurant at the Pearl Hotel in Yaesu

It seems that this is the first restaurant in Japan to serve cheese fondue.
The ostrich dish is also a specialty.

There seems to be a very reasonable lunch for lunch.
The light-up of the shop is very beautiful, so it is also recommended at night.

However, dinner at night is very voluminous.
There is an appetizer, a soup, and then a cheese fondue.
I'm eating a baguette, but I'm quite full there.

After that, salad, fish and meat will continue.
I couldn't eat much at the end.

But there are many kinds of cheese from cheese fondue.
I made it different by two people, so I enjoyed two kinds.

Next time we have a cheese fondue at lunch
I would like to enjoy it.

Authentic Italian lunch [Saposen Tudiaki]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 14, 2018 14:00

sapo201801.JPG

It is S'apposentu diaki, an Italian restaurant located very close to Chuo-ku government office (Kyobashi Library) (1st floor of Maeda Building, 1-3-6 Tsukiji).

It's the red spot on the map below.

sapo201800.jpg

I visited for lunch

sapo201803.JPG

You can enjoy the salad with fresh vegetables and refreshing dressing.

It also comes with homemade bread.

sapo201804.JPG

At the time of introduction on the blog last time (January last year), it was oyster spaghetti, but this time I also ordered "Oyster and Spinach Spaghetti".

Puriple oysters, spinach and olive oil go well.

Spaghetti can enjoy chewy texture

sapo201802.JPG

This is also crowded during lunchtime, so we recommend that you enter the store early.

Nihonbashi Soba Zanmai

[May rain George] January 12, 2018 09:00

There are more than 50 soba shops in the area named Nihonbashi alone. I think there are many people compared to other regions.
Kosei, where he was born, was said to be "If you can't beat soba or udon, you can't get married." One-third of the body is made by side, so I'm convinced that the feet are now on Nihonbashi.

Jurokubun Soba 71_Tenzaru (no seaweed).jpg

It is no exaggeration to say that the history of soba is the history of Nihonbashi. About 400 years ago, I remember reading a literature that a monk at a temple called Toko-in in Nihonbashi-Nanawa-cho (now Nihonbashi Honmachi 4-chome) ate soba (soba-cut) for the first time in Edo.
In addition, the first soba shop in Edo was called Shinanoya, which opened in Nihonbashi. In this Shinanoya, it seems that "Bukkake soba" (now Kakesoba) was born afterwards.

By the way, this time, I would like to introduce the neighborhood of the Nihonbashi area that I ate during the six months from July to December last year. It's still far from conquering all stores, but all are shops that offer unique soba.

Why don't you find your favorite soba in Nihonbashi?

Earth eel [Tosanmatsu Higashiginza store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 11, 2018 12:00

This is the "Tosanmatsu Higashiginza Store" on the first floor of the Toei Higashiginza Building, at the corner where the street from Showa-dori to Kamei Bridge and Kibikicho Street intersect.

tomi201802.JPG

Speaking of "Eel of the Earth Ox Day", it is said to be Gennai Hiraga's idea because it is a nutritious eel in the hot summer season and summer batter, but I think it is the wonderful wisdom of the Japanese.

But do you know that there are four times a year?

Doyo refers to "approximately 18 days before spring, summer, fall, and winter."

The four soil uses are called spring soil, summer soil, autumn soil, and winter soil, respectively.

This year's winter soil is entered on January 17, the dawn is February 3, and there are two Ox Days on winter soil, January 21 and February 2.

That's why it's an eel ahead of winter soil. The good smell of eel that comes in the cold winter season is the best. In the end, what is delicious whenever you eat is delicious.

tomi201803.JPG

This is the service set meal.

A beautiful eel with plump and soft light

The rice with oozing sauce was also delicious.

It also comes with small bowls, incense and liver sucking.

tomi201801.JPG

Lunch time is very crowded, so we recommend that you enter the store early.

Comfortable customer service is also a feature of this shop.
