[Mill] June 7, 2016 18:00

(The article of "Ginza Gallery Night Party 2016 Part 1")

/archive/2016/05/-2016-1.html

This is a continuation from the last time.

Kuroda Toen is located on Chuo-dori.

The light of Japanese lantern was very nice.

A calm space on the third floor, decorated with Bakuzan Sakaki's books.

"-Hana-Kanshin Imai Ceramics Exhibition" was being held.

It was a work of a young artist in Kyoto, and the natural modeling that was elaborated in detail was very impressive.

This is a work called "Protea".

A beautiful pottery that makes you feel the vitality of flowers native to Africa.

It was in harmony with the Japanese space

This is for galley.

The "Pole Aisbil Memorial Exhibition", which passed away in January this year, was being held.

It is said that Aisville's work was introduced since the opening of the corridor in 1969, and it was an exhibition covering the early days and later years.

There were many works with impressive bright colors of Southern Europe.

Shibunkaku Ginza has an atmosphere with the appearance of the entrance.

"Conrad Yong Godley Exhibition" was being held

The works of mountains and waterfalls are expressed by the brush eyes of paint.

When I saw it in a distance, it was like a picture.

At Shibunkaku Ginza, there was an exhibition room like a study at the end of the spiral stairs leading from the entrance, and the exhibition using the space was very wonderful.

I visited Nichido Gallery last time.

DSC_7098.JPG

The stone statues on both sides of the entrance were very mysterious at night.

DSC_7099.JPG

The 53rd Sun Exhibition was held.

The works of old and new artists were gathered together and exhibited, and it was very impressive.

Many works by landlords such as Ryuzaburo Umehara, Kazumasa Nakagawa, and Junkichi Mukai were also exhibited.

I was very happy to be able to see it even closer than the museum.

And here we reached the end time of 21:00.

DSC_7097.JPG

This time, I went around 12 galleries with three hours of participation.

The original holding time is 4 hours, but if you want to go around all 24 galleries, it will be quite a rush.

The gorgeous Ginza on early summer night is also very beautiful, and it was a "art gallery night party" that you can enjoy while traveling.

If you are interested, please join us next year.

On June 4, 2016 (Saturday), we participated in the "Bridge Tsukushi Tour" held by Yukio Mishima Study Group. After having lunch at "Suegen" in Shimbashi, we arrived at Tsukiji Honganji, where we went through Ginza Itajindo, Ginza, Showa-dori, and traveled around seven bridges according to the novel. Below, while quoting a novel (The novel was published in the magazine Bungei Shunju in 1956, and the book was published in 1958. The quotation is based on Shincho Bunko "Hanazakari no Mori / Yukuni") and the course of the day.

Okahan Honten

"For example, when I go to hairdressing in the evening, I sometimes see a geisha from the same land eating deliciously while waiting for the order, with Okahan's Yakinikudon Nanzo." (178)

Showa-dori

"Since Koyumi became the leader, the four people went to Showa-dori in the lower month. In the parking lot of the car shop, many hires that have been used for the day are flowing moonlight on a black-painted body. The sound of insects is heard from the bottom of those bodies.

There are still many cars coming and going on Showa-dori. However, as the city has already fallen asleep, the sound of the auto tricycles can be heard like the noise of the city, a free, lonely manic sound. " (185)

Miyoshi Bridge (First and Second Bridge)

"Soon, the first bridge to be crossed by four, Miyoshi Bridge, appeared to rise at the end. It is a rare three-pronged bridge over the Mitamata River, with a gloomy building of the Chuo-ku government office on the corner of the opposite bank, ... "(187)

School excursion students like Ginza, but what do they like?

[Silver] June 5, 2016 14:00

On May 25, I had the opportunity to guide junior high school students on school excursions in Chubu District.

What is the hope of recent school excursion students who want to show them around Ginza?

"I want to be interviewed by a TV station on the street corner of Ginza, and want to eat sweets from a famous Ginza store."

I walked in front of Tokyu Plaza Ginza, Sony Plaza, Kumamotokan, Ginza Senbikiya, etc., which opened at the end of March this year, and stopped in front of MANNEKEN's Belgian waffle and tasted the taste of Ginza.

I was excited to see UNIQLO's spinning mannequin dolls from the former Matsuzakaya in the middle of construction!

At the SOFTBANK storefront, I was squatting with a dog robot.

Of course, the famous shop in Ginza is the Kimura family's Anpan.

They don't miss him. He said that the taste of Anpan on the cheek at Ginza 4-chome is exceptional.

For junior high school students, whether the luxury store was unexpected or not interested in other shops, but at a luxury jewelry store, I was surprised and excited to see the price of Taiara.

He hoped that they would grow up and come back to Ginza again and enjoy Ginza.

If a foreigner asks you the way, you'll be kind. Proposal of countermeasures

[Silver] June 4, 2016 14:00

Many customers are coming to Japan, Tokyo, and Chuo-ku due to the easing of Viza conditions and the depreciation of the yen.

I try to be kind to treat foreign customers.

I will show you what was good and troubled in my experience.

1) Travelers from China...

I was asked the way, but I was asked for the way in a language neither Mandarin nor Taiwanese.

In Mandarin, I answered "Shirando", but the customer was smart.

I showed me the photo taken with my smartphone and probably said, "Where is this building?"

   I knew right away.

Please show me a picture of the Sapporo Lion's building that I know very well.

I was able to take you to the front of the shop safely.

2) Foreign travelers who can't speak English ... It's a little long story. Please be patient, please.

On the way back to Kumamoto-kan, I was a little hungry, so when I was looking at the menu in front of the restaurant to eat something, I was going to eat something.

An older woman than me spoke with a smiling face.

She said, "Psycho, Goo." I said, "Is Psycho the name of the place? What does Goo mean?", But I don't speak English.

Once upon a time, on the island of the Caribbean, local people said, "Psycho! I remember saying "Seiko Issciko."

Is Seiko a Seiko? Do you mean Gu (Gu)? If you hear that, you can't respond clearly.

"Well, let's take you there," he said.

While walking, "Where did you come from? Are you a Frenchman?" He was a traveler from a Middle East country that has friendly relations with the United States.

As I expected, Goo was GU and was meeting with a friend at 18:20 in front of the store across it.

The arrival time was 18:23, so we waited together for a while for her friend to appear.

Even if you wait for about 15 minutes, it will not appear at all. There is no incoming record because the mobile phone should be contacted. Do you know your friend's phone number? When asked, "I haven't registered!"

You can go home because you wait alone.>I said something like that, "So, what is the name of the hotel you are staying in?" When I heard that "Ginza!"

There are a lot of Ginza 0., etc. Ginza Hotel.

When asked what direction it was, in the direction of Ginza 8-chome, go about three traffic lights and turn right.

"I'll check the name of the hotel in that area at the police box there, so please wait a moment," and go to Ginza 4-chome police box.

At the police box, I was pasting a map with the name of the hotel in Ginza.

I wrote down the name of Ginza Kokusai Hotel or Ginza Com's Inn, returned to her, and said two names, and replied, "The two are different."

When I thought it was in trouble, "Yes. I had a hotel card key." That's right. The hotel is a famous hotel located in Ginza 1-chome.

"It's the opposite direction. But it's a place I know very well, so I'll send it to the hotel. "

On the way to the hotel, "Did you see Tiffany? Then, what about this florist?" When asked, "Oh! I remember this florist. ", even at the corner of Melsa, I feel uneasy. "Do you see the sign called Hotel M over there? That's what you say, "I think so."

In such a way, I sent it to the hotel and shook hands firmly in front of the hotel door.

Taking this opportunity, <Let's save photos of famous places in Ginza on your smartphone and use them for directions!>I thought it was.
