Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes. This time, "[3rd excursion series] Follow the roots of Ginza....Continuing on from I would like to focus on the relationship between Shizuoka and Chuo-ku (especially Ginza)!
On a rainy day in September, this willow happened to be seen at Sunpu Castle Park. If you look closely at the information board...There is Yanagi Nisei in Ginza!
I was worried, so when I read the details, this was written in addition to the story of Ginza that I introduced last time.
"In 1884, the street trees in Ginza were unified to willows, but despite the damage of the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 and the Great Tokyo Air Raid in 1945, the citizens' enthusiasm for preserving them grew, and the splendid trees revived. However, from around 1967, during the period of high growth, willows in Ginza disappeared. Local volunteers who were hurt by this have poured their heart and soul into the preservation movement, cultivated seedlings with cuttings, and donated not only to Ginza but also to the whole country. Motoichi also planted Ginza's Yanagi II in one corner of Sunpu Castle toes due to the relationship of Ginza, and passed on to future generations. "
In other words, Yanagi Nisei in Ginza is planted in various places throughout the country. In Ginza, which is important, two Ginza Yanagi Nisei are planted near Ginza Nine.
And next to one willow is the "Ginza willow Monument". The lyrics and music of "Ginza Yanagi no Uta" (lyrics: 80 Saijo, composed: Shinpei Nakayama) are engraved.

It's a great deal, so please take this opportunity to remember the number one. When Ginza's Yanagi Nisei finds a unique edge, I will introduce it again on my blog.

I found it because I was looking for a cafe in Ginza. It's on the third floor of the building opposite the "white rose" on the gas lamp street. This cafe is inspired by an apartman in a rural town in France. The special retro interior and furniture are wonderful. Go up the stairs to the third floor and go to the left door. There was a sign called 301, so when I entered it, I saw it on the net. A retro space was spreading. He said he wouldn't smoke because he was asked if he would smoke. I was taken to the room across the street. This is also a retro space. I feel like the first smoking room is more elaborate.
We had a limited omelet lunch. It also comes with coffee and small sweets.
I think we can make a reservation. It seems that the reservation costs 500 yen.
However, it is quiet and easy to relax. There were quite a few females. I want to use it again. APPARTEMENT 301 homepage

The 11th EDO ART EXPO, "The actors depicted in Ukiyo-e" and "Edo "Japanese calligraphy Exhibition" are being held simultaneously. The period is from September 21 to October 9. Please go out early so that you don't miss it.
Today, I have seen 10 ukiyo-e paintings on display at the Senbikiya Sohonten on the second floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower. There is a description below the picture.
It is said that Van Gogh of Hiroshige Utagawa's Van Gogh also imitated "Ohashi Atake no Yudate (Hundred Views of Edo), "Kandakonnyacho (same)" in Katsushika Hokusai, "Edo Nihonbashi (Thirty-six Views of Fujitake)", "Koshu Ishikasazawa (same)", and "Totamaro Kitagawa's Doro Kitagawa's Doro Kitagawa's Doro Beemonyo.
And it's "Ono Komachi" by Kiyocho Torii. In his heart, he shouted "Yamatoya!" in his heart, depicting the aesthetic sense from the Edo period and the behavior of a smart actor.
The organizers of this event are NPO Tokyo Net, sponsored by Tokyo, Chuo-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Minato-ku, and Sumida-ku. It is a grand event supported by many companies and supported by their cooperation. It's around this time when there is a cool sign of autumn. We recommend "EDO ART EXPO Tour" for both health and gastronomy. Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes. This time, in the excursion series for the first time in May, we will focus on Shizuoka, which is closely related to Ginza.
...However, I don't think the relationship between Ginza and Shizuoka immediately comes to mind. But what about trying to replace Shizuoka with Sunpu? There may be some people who suddenly get a pin.
(Shooted at the north exit of Shizuoka Station in September 2018)
As shown in the panel in the photo above, Ieyasu Tokugawa is the key to this relationship. And he spends about a third of his life in Sunpu. ・Age 8 to 19: Imagawa's childhood as a hostage (This scene was also seen in the previous Taiga drama series "Onna castle owner Naotora".) ・45-49 years old: Until the relocation of the Kanto region ・66-75 years old: Gosho era returned from Edo after the opening of the prefecture
With these things in mind, when you actually walk around the city of Shizuoka City, you can see them. A monument with the Aoi crest jumps into my eyes This is a monument that shows the "Place of Sunpu Ginza".
On the side of the monument is that Ginza was moved from Sunpu to Edo in 1612 (by Ieyasu). It is engraved that the roots of today's Tokyo Ginza are in Shizuoka. This is the official text of the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia that can be walked on foot" It is also published. (The latest version is scheduled to be released on October 15, 2018 (Monday))
When you come to the place that actually becomes the roots of Ginza and enjoy the atmosphere of the castle town of Sunpu Castle with your five senses. There was something more emotional than I thought.
On the other hand, today's Ginza has a strong presence as well as brand stores. There is a monument called "Ginza Birthplace" (Place: in front of Tiffany & Co.)
This monument is engraved as follows. "In 1612 (2272 AD, 1612 AD), Tokugawa shogunate established the Ginza Office here. At that time, the name of the town was called Shin-Ryogaecho, but it was commonly called Ginza-cho, and it was announced in 1869 that Ginza was finally the name of the town."
When I moved from Sunpu, it was also called "Shin Ryogaecho" instead of Ginza. This is the point I want to keep as a lover of Chuo-ku!
Through this excursion, the origin of Ginza has a remnants of the Edo period. I was able to reconfirm that Ieyasu was in the key Shizuoka. In the fourth excursion series, we will focus on Shizuoka and introduce our relationship with Chuo-ku.

Perhaps because of the typhoon, the temperature has dropped much and it has become autumn.
"Autumn of Art"
A solo exhibition of watercolor paintings is being held on the 2nd floor of Gallery Ginza in Ginza 2-chome.
"Keiko Kashiwagi Watercolor Painting Exhibition"
The period is from Tuesday, September 25 to October 1 (Monday).
The time is from 11 am to 5 pm and the last Monday is until 3 pm.
Mr. Kashiwagi, a watercolor painter living in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, said that he had experienced solo exhibitions in the local area many times, but this event was "first" here in Ginza, Chuo-ku .
At the venue, beautiful works depicting flowers in transparent watercolors are exhibited.
There are many works of flowers, such as pretty violas and roses in the middle of blooming cups, that make your feelings brighter just by being there.
Some of the works depicting the scenery of the local "Sakura Sobue no Oka" are also exhibited, depicting light, shadow, and the feeling of waterside air.
It is a watercolor painting exhibition that is gentle and healed.
It is a season suitable for walking around the town, so please drop in by all means.
In addition, the enlarged picture of the original line stamp modeled on Kashiwagi's dog displayed at the venue will be healed. Please see here at the venue.
Regarding the photography in the gallery, Mr. Kashiwagi himself gave a careful explanation of the work and his production method.
Thank you very much

Near the Chuo-ku government office, red spider lily (e.g. cluster amaryllis) was blooming under Kamei Bridge (the capital highway Toshin Beltway runs below) between Miyoshi Bridge and Shuku Bridge in Mitsumata, near Miyoshi Bridge (the capital highway Toshin Beltway runs below).
This flower is bulbous, so it should have bloomed here last year and two years ago, but it's a bit surprising that I didn't notice it at all.
What is blooming next to it is "Tamasudare", which also blooms during this season.
Tamasdare is a bulbous plant native to South America and Paraguay. The family name and genus name are the genus Tamasdare of the family Amaryllidaceae.
It's an amaryllidaceae department.
Another name is Rain Lily (Rain Lily).
When the red red spider lily begins to bloom, I feel that autumn has come.
