On the 7th floor of Ginza 3-chome, Matsuya Ginza, a slightly retro car exhibition made of wood, entitled "Koji Kobayashi Exhibition-Nostalgic Cars Made of Trees-" is being held.
Citroen 2CV, Alfa Romeo 1300GTA, jaguar, Lotus Western Europe, Lotus Super 7, Rancha Strates, Beatle, BMW 2002, and Porsche 356A.
There is also a candy car in the nostalgic memory.
At the venue, Koji Kobayashi was there, and I was able to hear the story directly.
In the first place, it was said that this car was made entirely by self-taught. The materials used are many zelkova, and they use colors and wood grain materials that match the parts, such as oak, sandalwood, and Kojiro Tamo (buried ash trees that have been buried in the soil for more than 1000 years). . In addition to cars, propeller airplanes, submarines, etc. will be made.
The question of why it is a retro car is that recent cars are because the headlights are integrated with the body curves.
Mr. Kobayashi responded carefully to my poor questions with a smile all the time.
The cars lined up at the venue were carefully made by carving, shaving, and polishing one by one, and they were very warm, nostalgic, and the grain was gentle.
The event will be held from Wednesday, October 14 to October 20 (Tue).
The photographing at the venue was approved by the person himself.

It's autumn of art
From October 10th (Saturday), at the "Muse Yozo Hamaguchi / Yamasa Collection" at 1-chome Kakigaracho Nihonbashi, entitled "Four Months in Paris" by photographer Shotaro Akiyama and copperplate painter Yozo Hamaguchi An exhibition of works is being held.
In this exhibition, photographs of Paris and Venice taken by Shotaro Akiyama during a tour of Europe were released, and about 30 copperplate prints by Yozo Hamaguchi, mainly works exhibited at the Venice Biennale, are exhibited.
Shotaro Akiyama is one of Japan's leading photographers, and photographs of women and flowers remain impressive, but the photographs of Paris and Venice on display at this exhibition are like a "refresh vacation" It seems that he took it during his stay in Paris in the form. For that reason, I thought there were many works that were very easy to understand.
Yozo Hamaguchi is a world-renowned copperplate painter who pioneered the technique of color mesotint. In the work, small fruits and shells are arranged in a screen composition that takes a wide space, expressing a quiet world with a three-dimensional effect. The subtle black shade, which is a characteristic of mesotint, is also wonderful.
The venue, “Muse Yozo Hamaguchi / Yamasa Collection,” was opened by Yamasa Soy Sauce Co., Ltd. in November 1998 as an art museum that stores and displays the works of Yozo Hamaguchi.
This is due to the fact that Yozo Hamaguchi was born as the third son of the tenth president of Yamasa soy sauce.
The period is until January 24, 2016 (Sun).

In Monoshiri Encyclopedia, Ginza has been revived as a result of the earthquake disaster reconstruction project.
> 1910 (1910), the first cafe in Tokyo, Maison Konosu, opened in Koamicho, Nihonbashi-ku. Ginza's first cafe "Cafe Plantan" opened in March of the following year, and in August of the same year, a three-story "Cafe Lion" opened at the current Ginza 5-chome corner. ・・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ In the Taisho era, the success of “Cafe Lion” became a prime water, and cafes opened in Ginza Brick Street one after another. And Ginza will enter a gorgeous era with the scent of Taisho romance.
It is said. (page 122)
Kafu is also actively stepping into the cafe, and on November 20, 1926, Nissha stated in detail the state of the cafe at that time, saying, `` Tag opened from the spring of the year following the earthquake, In contrast to the lionkaku in Owaricho, I think that it is now superior to its prosperity. There are other sake shishi on Ginza Street that can be called Syogetsu and Ginbura."
As stated by Kafu, "Cafe Lion" (Lionkaku) opened earlier in 1911, and was managed by Seiyoken Tsukiji. After that, the Tiger was formed in 1924.
Kafu began in the Showa era around the end of the Taisho era, and especially went to this "Cafe Tiger" (tag). On September 28, 1927, alimony of 130 yen for the female salary of Cafe Tiger? I'm paying for it.
Tiger is a large store with a female salary of 200 people at one time. Kan Kikuchi brought many friends and employees of Bungei Shunju and drunk beer. "Ginza March" (1928) says, "I like Tiger Girl's Bunshi and I like Lion Weightress Lady."

Café was originally supposed to be a coffee shop, but the character of the cafe at that time was a pure bar.
