Marugoto Museum Bus Route Around Right (1)

[CAM] 16:00 on October 30, 2015

"Marugoto Museum 2015" (November 1) is also approaching. I'm in charge of "around the right of the bus route", so today (October 25), I went for a little preview (both photos were taken on October 25).

First, Tsukiji Ichiba Bridge parking lot

Pass through the Tsukiji Social Education Center, turn right while facing Shimbashi Enbujo and Unemebashi Park, and head to Harumi-dori St.

We enter Harumi-dori St. from Mannenbashi Bridge. The Tsukiji River originally flowed under the Mannen Bridge. The river was reclaimed in 1964, and now the Metropolitan Expressway is running. There is Tsukiji River Ginza Park in Chuo Ward on both sides of the bridge.

Passed through the intersection with Showa-dori Street and the Mihara-bashi Bridge intersection. Mihara Bridge is a bridge that was once built over thirty-nine Horikawa. The actual Mihara Bridge existed at the location of the Mihara Bridge Underground Shopping Center from Ginza Mitsukoshi from the intersection.

The intersection of Ginza 4-chome. It crosses Chuo-dori (Ginza-dori). Wako, Mitsukoshi and San-Ai, located in four corners, are representative buildings of Ginza. The Sapporo Ginza Building, which included the Nissan Gallery, is under construction.

Turn left from Sukiyabashi intersection to Sotobori-dori St.

"Re-discovery NIHOMBASHI Nihonbashi! -Bakurocho, Edo's Hatago Appearance! -"(City Tour Part 9)

[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo] 18:00 on October 29, 2015

After having a drink at Bettara City @ O Temmacho at Takarada Ebisu Shrine, we stopped at Bakuro Yokoyamacho next to the east.
Since the Edo period, as a post town near Asakusa Gomon, which was a major downtown area at that time (there was Bakuro who bought and cared for horses).
And it has developed as a wholesaler town for many goods, and is now working hard as a wholesaler town for clothing.

On October 1, the hostel "IRORI" with a 7-story 71 bet is open in a corner of a building in the wholesale street.
There is a single / bunk bed made of Shimanto cypress, separated by a cloth that is good at wholesalers, and a self-catering kitchen.
"Irori" that can be surrounded by everyone, sometimes the protagonist, sits in the lounge with chocolate and ash,
It is a place where you can feel such a simple and quiet appearance. (3,000 yen per night)

It seems to be popular with foreign backpackers, people who are accustomed to traveling, and Japanese people who are suddenly staying.
In the evening lounge, foreign tourists enjoy blogging while using Wifi, and the two women's group light coffee
I was drinking while chatting, and the Japanese were quietly tapping the PC keyboard.
I feel that the new scenery of Nihonbashi is expanding.

Bettarazuke, Edo culture flower

[CAM] 16:00 on October 29, 2015

The following article appears in the Nikkei evening edition of today (October 27, 2015).

>Bettazuke, the flower of Edo culture—sweet, white, and stylish taste (food navigation)
2015/10/27 Nihon Keizai Shimbun evening edition 7 pages 2053 characters

Among them,

"Like other pickles, Bettarazuke spread throughout the country due to the development of chilled distribution. Today, it is said to be the best in the industry in Tokyo (Central Tokyo). After the war, he started full-scale production and worked hard to rebuild Bettara City, but he struggled with how to appeal to the fact that it was a pickles in Tokyo. The plant was moved to Saitama Prefecture, and local products could not be sold because raw materials were procured from all over the country. Therefore, we have been certified by the National Tourism Souvenir Fair Trade Council, and have been particular about Tokyo specialty products, such as receiving the designation of recommended specialty products from the Chuo-ku Tourism Association. "

It is said that the system called "Recommended specialty products of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association" is also introduced.

Recommended Tsukudani from Tsukuda Genda Nakaya

[kimitaku] 09:00 on October 29, 2015

We took a walk around Tsukuda 1-chome before noon in the fine autumn weather.

Cats also take a nap at the bar's edge.

Visit Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, head to the Sumida River, turn left at the torii gate and walk.

The whistle of the ship sounds. ・・・・・

Beyond the right bank is the Sumida River. ・・・・・・

When you go shortly, the sound of a large ventilation fan turns.

And pure white water vapor makes a "bobo" sound and is pulled out of the house.

All around, full of fragrant soy sauce. My stomach has decreased, and I am in the direction of smell.

"Welcome" A full-fledged "Edo dialect" with a sharp rise of the high end.

The origin of the fragrance is goby tsukudani. At the back of the store, I was in the middle of the preparation.

DSC_1084-1.jpg DSC_1089-1.jpg

When I ask the girl, she is always cooking now.

Here Tsukuda is the birthplace of Tsukudani.

In 1590, Ieyasu Tokugawa moved to the Kanto region, and after that, the residents of Tsukuda moved from Osaka to Ieyasu. It is said that he started making Tsukishima and Tsukudani in 1645.

DSC_1079-1.jpg

It seems that this shop has been making Tsukudani for generations since the first generation "Genemon".

The story of the scent of Tsukudani that goes to the store and the history ... immediately slip to Edo.

All tsukudani are sold by weight. Clams, silas, and leaf chili pepper are all cooked.

The color is different. I'm curious. Good soy sauce that makes you want to buy and go home and open the bag.

The smell.

・・・It was a full-fledged Edo-mae Tsukudani that goes very well with beer and sake.

Marugoto Museum 2015 Venue (1)

[CAM] 18:00 on October 28, 2015

I took a closer look at the showroom.

[1] [2] First, it is the Pilot Pen Station (Kyobashi 2-6-21) building where the Pilot Writing Tools Museum is located.

IMG_1946.JPG"Meijiya Kyobashi Building" (2-2-8, Kyobashi) (page 19 of Monoshiri Encyclopedia) is located opposite Chuo-dori.

IMG_1947.JPG

[3] This is the Tokyo Square Garden building where the "Environmental Information Center" will be the venue for the "Environmental Activities Festival 2015" (3-1-1 Kyobashi). It is located at the intersection of Chuo-dori and Kajibashi-dori.

IMG_1948.JPG There is also a studio of "Central FM" on the basement floor.

IMG_1950.JPG[4] "Ginza Okuno Building" is a fairly retro building (Ginza 1-9-8). It is the first luxury apartment in Ginza, and it has become a valuable architectural heritage of Chuo-ku as a building that conveys the scent of Showa Modern to the present.

IMG_1951.JPG A poster for the "Marugoto Museum" was also posted next to the entrance of the manual retro elevator.
