"The Man Who Can't Get Married" and No. 2 Inoue Building (Kayabacho)
Hiroshi Abe, who reached the final episode at the end of last year, was an interesting drama, starring "A Man Who Can't Get Married yet" (hereinafter referred to as "A Still"). Of course, there may have been pros and cons depending on the viewer, but I love the comedy that was just a little (just a little point) that was realistic.♪
Anyway, it's not about the content of the drama, but about the location.
In the previous work "Man Who Cannot Married", the Yamani Shoken Building in Kabuto-cho was used not only as the building where Hiroshi Abe's architectural design office is located, but also as a title back every time. Was.
In this "Mot" setting that 13 years have passed since the previous work, the location of the architectural design office was changed to a building along Nihon Odori in Yokohama, depending on the expansion of management scale. However, the No. 2 Inoue Building in Kayabacho was used as a lawyer's office for Mr. Go Yoshida, who is the other leading role.
In fact, it is used not only as a location for the No. 2 Inoue Building, but also as a location for many dramas, movies and music PVs. This time, I was able to ask Mr. Kenichi Inoue, the owner of the No. 2 Inoue Building, President of Inoue Shoji Co., Ltd., for a detailed story, so I would like to introduce the story mainly.
History of the No. 2 Inoue Building
The address is 2-17-13 Nihonbashi Kayabacho, Chuo-ku, a building that stands along the Kamejima River under Reigishi Bridge.
This building was completed in 1927 (1927), a 93-year-old property! It seems that it was built almost at the same time as the Nishokan Building as one of the reconstruction buildings after the Great Kanto Earthquake (1923). It has been selected as one of the 100 Best Modern Building Surveys in Chuo-ku.
It was originally called Tsukamoto Building, and it was used as the headquarters building of Sailor Pen from 1952 to 1978 after the war. After that, he was an acquaintance from the previous generation, so he acquired this building where President Inoue's father was about to be demolished due to his relationship. In addition to the truck transportation business since 1927, it has become a new face of Inoue Shoji, which has been engaged in the leasing business.
However, at the beginning, the specifications were still old, so they were not very blessed with tenants, and management was somewhat difficult.
It was a turning point in 1989. It seems that the current president has undergone a major renewal of the interior and exterior under the concept of a stylish antique building while taking advantage of the exterior and interior at the beginning of the completion. It was also this year that we established a restaurant directly managed by Inoue Shoji (pictured right) / creative Italian (currently famous for organic cuisine and abundant drinks) on the 1st floor.
Since then, it has attracted attention as a location for dramas, and it is an artist-related resident mainly composed of creators, designers, etc., and is still full.
Location Mecca: No. 2 Inoue Building
There is a movie called "Survey on Ordinary Love" released in 1992 (performed by Eiji Okuda, Masanori Sera, Masahiko Tsugawa, etc.). It seems that this is the beginning of the full-fledged location history of the 2nd Inoue Building that appeared as the scene of a certain incident.
Since then, it has been used in dozens of dramas and movies, but it seems that it is often used as a lawyer's office. Even though it was still, even with relatively recent works.
The Great White Tower (2019)
Satan's Advocate Reiji Mikoshiba (2019)
Family Journey (2018)
Women Will Not Allow It (2014)
Step Father Step (2012)
Everything is used as a lawyer’s office. (The white giant tower is also used in two dramas before 2019 (Fuji TV))
It was also the lawyer's office played by Ryoko Yonekura in the "Seicho Matsumoto Drama Special" Suspicion "", which was aired last year and was the last drama of Masahiko Tsugawa.
Most of the images used are part of the exterior and interior of the building, and filmed on the rooftop, but in the dramatized "Psycho Doctor Kyosuke Kai" (starring Yutaka Takenouchi) in 2002, the mental clinic of Yutaka Takenouchi was located in the No. 2 Inoue Building, and it was a location using all of the building, including the interior. From the entrance of the building, you can see stairs, corridors, and rooms. There was also a scene where I opened the window of the office and looked at the Kamejima River.
Also, "I work for a black company, but I may be my limit anymore" (2009: starring / Teppei Koike) ", a full-fledged location was also held.
Mr. Inoue's story is not exhausted.
President Inoue had a deep connection with Chuo-ku since his grandfather's generation, and not only talked about the No. 2 Inoue Building itself, but also the scenery of Chuo-ku during the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, earthquake resistance after the Great Kanto Earthquake I was able to ask a lot of interesting stories about Chuo-ku, such as the history of standards and the population issues in Chuo-ku.
