He established Daiichi National Bank in Nihonbashikabutocho in 1873 (Meiji 7), and in 1888 (Meiji 21), set up his own residence (currently Nisshokan). The theme of the 13th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification was "Chuo-ku and Eiichi Shibusawa".
