Head office and separate company connected by "Kasama vermilion" — Kasama Inari-jinja Shrine Tokyo Bessha
It was about a year ago, but I had the opportunity to visit Kasama City in Ibaraki Prefecture. Speaking of the symbol of Kasama City…Kasama Inari Shrine is said to have been founded in Shiraki 2 (651) and is one of Japan's three largest Inari shrines. One of the features of Kasama Inari Shrine is the unique vermilion paint, as seen in this torii gate. Compared to the general vermilion color, it is similar to the calm red color, and the worship hall and the tower gate (back photo) in the precincts are painted with the same color. (To be precise, the color of worship hall is the first. The current torii gate was built in the same color as worship hall when it was rebuilt in 2016 and seems to have been stone until around 2010.)
