Kanehiro Takagi, the founder of Jikei Medical University, aims to provide holistic medical care on the side of the sick with the support of Eiichi Shibusawa!
1881 On January 7, 1881 (a monument to Ginza 4-4-1), Kanehiro Takaki opened the predecessor of the Jikei Medical University School of Medicine, the Seishinkai Training Center. Medical colleges originating in Chuo-ku include Juntendo University School of Medicine, Tokyo Women's Medical University, Nippon Medical School, and many medical universities. It was also the establishment of the oldest private medical university in Japan. Together with Toan Matsuyama and 18 physicians, it was an academic organization aiming to improve Japan's poor medical environment. As a training school for nurturing patients-centered doctors, we thought that a hospital that could always interact with patients was indispensable, and we aimed to open a medical treatment hospital where poor people could receive medical treatment.

Correspondent-only tour "Shin Nihonbashi Station Exploring ♪"
I participated in the Chuo-ku Tourism Association correspondent-only tour "Shin-Nihonbashi Station Exploration ♪" on October 26. The image is on the back of "Normal Admission Ticket Shin-Nihonbashi Station" which I received as a souvenir.
