[Taste of Chuo-ku] "Taimeiken supervision potato croquette" at the usual supermarket
At the end of summer, I went to Ito-Yokado to buy a limited-time collaboration lunch with a restaurant in Chuo-ku. In addition to the products you are looking for, I noticed that there are many side dishes supervised by famous stores in Chuo-ku on shelves.
Today, I would like to talk about the continuation of the taste of Chuo-ku, which can be met at supermarkets.

※The lunch boxes and side dishes introduced in the previous article are limited to the Yokado Summer Festival, so the sales period has ended.
It's a little extra before the main part.
On the day of Ito-Yokado, an event was held in the special space to collect bread from all over the country, and the Imano Fruit Factory in Nihonbashikayabacho was opened next to the account.
Fruit sand that I've been worried about since I saw it on this blog when I was just a correspondent. I'm thrilled to meet you by chance. I bought it without hesitation. I'd like to go to the shop someday.

Mainichi is Chuo-ku Festival
During the Yokado Summer Festival in August, potato croquettes supervised by Taimeiken and Ningyocho Imahan were lined up on shelves along with Tando Richikin supervised by Nile Restaurant, Red Curry fried chicken and Menchikatsu supervised by Brick Tei. It was a sukiyaki croquette. The whole piece of furniture was exclusively for the taste of Chuo-ku.
Looking at it, Taimeiken-supervised potato croquettes began selling in 2017, Ningyocho Imahan Supervised Sukiyaki Croquettes began selling in 2019, and it seems to be completely familiar in Ito-Yokado.
Recently, a special cream croquette supervised by Ginza Bricktei has been newly added, and it is recommended as "3 excellent croquettes of Ito-Yokado." It's like the Chuo-ku Fair is held every day.
Here's the protagonist today
This time, I will report a potato croquette supervised by Taimeiken. I met with the third generation chef of the package.
It says, "The potato croquette clothing made with Chef Koji Shigeki, the third generation of Nihonbashi Taimeiken, Tokyo!"
I'll have it right away. Suck!
Oh, it's delicious. It's creamy and smooth. This is the croquette of a Western restaurant, isn't it? The light-textured clothing and the sweet "tane", which takes a lot of time and effort, feel happy when eaten. The small size is just right, and I'd like to have a snack. The other three croquettes were also very interested.
Next year is 90 years old! Taimeiken, a long-established Western-style restaurant in Nihonbashi
Taimeiken, a Western restaurant founded in Shinkawa in 1931 (1931). It seems that it was after the war that it moved to Nihonbashi. As reported in this blog, we closed temporarily in October 2020 to redevelop the Nihonbashi 1-chome Middle Area, and we are waiting for business resumption at temporary stores from March 2021.

The Nihonbashi 1-chome building was open until October 2020. I would like to keep it in my memory.
Taimeiken has a lot of topics even when the restaurant is closed. In a familiar place, Lawson, a convenience store, has been collaborating with Taimeiken since 2011, and new products will be released nationwide next month.
In addition, on the Taimeiken website, as a "signboard dish recipe", in addition to potato croquettes, how to make omelets, coleslaws and gratin is disclosed. If you are good at cooking, you can reproduce it at home.
Chef Koji Shigeki, the third generation, known for his bright character, published lung cancer in August this year, and is currently working while fighting illness. The illness diary in the official blog mentions that getting sick will limit the enjoyment of food, and says, "I want you to stay in a healthy state where you can eat what you like well." . I was struck by the feeling of Chef Shigeru Deki, who wishes for the health of the people as a chef. In order to enjoy gourmet activities in Chuo-ku, I valued every day and wanted to spend a healthier day.
