Temporary closure of Taimeiken Stores scheduled for March 2021
Taimeiken has been popular with everyone as a Western restaurant in Nihonbashi.
It has been temporarily closed since October 19, 2020. Before entering the holiday, we enjoyed the meal at the historic table on the 2nd floor.
It is said that sales at temporary stores are scheduled for early March 2021.
For 89 years from 1931, they have served delicious Western food in Shinkawa and Nihonbashi, and have also appeared in movies such as "dandelion omelet rice", cole throw, borcich, etc. Let's look forward to it.
A memorable Western-style small dish lunch
I ordered a "Western-style small plate lunch" for a memorable lunch. It seems that there are 9 kinds of daily changes in total.
The menu for this day is beef tongue croquette, beef stew (with onsen tamago), chicken kochile, fish poire, roast pork, chicken roll, roast beef, salad, soup (this day cream stew) rice, sherbet (this day grape). It was a very satisfying lunch. I remember it.
Time-cut watch
It's a pillar watch that was hung on the second floor. It is a venerable watch that carved the time of a famous store in Nihonbashi.
On the dial, a doll in the form of a cook like Shigeki-san was displayed.

The showcase in front of the cash register was decorated with dolls made by employees, miniatures mimicking meals, and bouquets. The affection of employees for the shop has been conveyed. I would like to see you at the new store.

Kite Museum Opened in a temporary store from November 8
I visited you on the busy day of October and really bothered you.
