Lavender at Tsukiji River Park
The clouds are still high, but will it rain in the evening? On the morning of the rainy season, when I looked at Tsukiji River Park from Bizen Bridge (Honganji side), lavender was blooming pretty flowers. Feel refreshed in the cloudy sky!
The bees don’t have to worry about their work either.
Will the honey collected by these children become Ginza honey? While thinking, I approached the lavender and smelled it.
Enjoying the park
The back side of the lavender is a small waterside, but on this day it was being renovated and surrounded by an orange net. It seems that it is scheduled to be completed by the end of June, and there will be more fun walking there.
As you go down the path, you will see a yama hydrangea with bright red flowers. This is the first time I've ever seen a red hydrangea. And although I don't know the name, it is healed from the morning with the light pink florets that cover the surface.
By the way, I walked on the other side of Akatsuki Bridge (St. Luke's International University side) and the part where the renovation was completed in April this year.
Day campground
In the past, there was a place like a wisteria trellis in the middle, and I remember that there was a space where BBQ could be done in a place with a thick image of the shade. Due to the renovation, it became a clean BBQ place (day campground) at the end of the park. There is a standby water field with a sense of release, a picnic bench and table, and a fire setting area. By the way, there is also a fine toilet under Akatsuki Bridge.
The facilities of the day campground are hard to understand in the photos. I didn't have the arm and sense of the photo, and I couldn't approach with the off-limits tape, so please feel sorry. It was also because I was fascinated by the white hydrangea flower (Annabell).
It is said that the use will start on August 1, and applications for use will be accepted from July 15. If you live or work in Chuo-ku, you can apply. In addition to Tsukiji River Park, there are day campsites in Hamacho Park and Toyomi Sports Park. Specifically, please see Chuo-ku homepage, day campsite https://www.city.chuo.lg.jp/sisetugaido/koento/deikyanpuzyo.html.
The usage time is from 10:00 to 18:00 during the day. Tsukiji Park's day campsite (as I observed), there is no shade, so it seems necessary to take sufficient measures or courage to stop using it in the scorching sun.
Just because the fire department or St. Luke International Hospital is in front of you, please be careful not to request an ambulance or transport to a critical care center in heat stroke.
