The crest of the Cartier royal family in Ginza
The cartier building on Ginza Street is decorated with six royal emblems. To be precise, it may be more correct to say the emblem of the individual of the old royal family or the royal family (e.g. King X13 of Spain).
From the right to the building, the emblem of the royal family of the former Russia, Greece, Serbia, Monaco, Spain and Portugal is posted. (Please understand that all names of countries where the royal government has been abolished are old.) A nice female clerk told me carefully.
We also found that the reason why these emblems are displayed is examined by examining the company's brilliant history.
In 1847, jeweler Louis François Cartier founded Maison Cartier on 13 Montmartregueil Street in Paris. The first bracelet jewelry was produced in 1888, and in 1899 it moved to 13 Lape-dori, the center of mode with luxury shops. He opened the London branch in 1902, and in 1904 he became the purveyor of Edward 7, King of England and Alphons 13, King of Spain.
In 1904, he ordered a letter of purvey of the King of England, and this led to the edict of royal palaces in 15 countries in the 35 years until 1939. It seems that nine of them royal emblems are displayed on the left and right of each entrance of the Paris Main Store.
