Monument of Silver Love

 - a monument to the popular duet song-

The song "The Story of Love in Ginza" composed by Hisao Otaka and Sou Kaburagi was a huge hit in 1961 duet by Yujiro Ishihara and Junko Makimura (Junko Makimura).

To convey this achievement to future generations, poetry monument was erected in Ginza in 1990 by the Ginza Dori Federation, Nishi Ginza Dorikai, and Teichiku.

Seats are set up on the left and right of the monument, so you can take a commemorative photo with the monument in between.

This time, Nishi-Ginza Street was renewed as a symbol road in Tokyo with the expansion of the sidewalk along with granite pavement, and the row of trees was replaced with willows, and the symbol of Ginza was revived.

Nishi-Ginza Dorikai hopes that this willow will will continue to be loved and loved by people for a long time, and will erect a monument here in Sukiyabashi Park.

In 1951, the Ministry of Justice (currently the Ministry of Justice) advocated this movement, and it has now become one of the largest national movements in Japan.

This time, the Chuo-ku Conservation Chair and the Rehabilitation Women's Association commemorate the 50th and 30th anniversary of the founding, convey the significance and philosophy of this movement to a new generation, praying for the realization of a peaceful and bright society, A monument was built in Ginza, the birthplace of the Movement to Brighten.
