To the world of unknown craft tea "Ginza CROESUS"
It's moss.
I love tea for a long time, and I visit various shops in Chuo-ku. Meanwhile, I got information that there is a specialty store of "crafted tea" in Ginza.
The word "crafted tea" is not familiar with. I visited a store in Ginza 7-chome to see what it was like.
A specialty store specializing in craft tea, which is rare in Japan.
"Ginza CROESUS", which I visited this time, is the only shop in Japan that specializes in craft tea. Inside the store, there are a wide variety of craft teas lined up by owners who are fascinated by craft tea negotiated directly with Chinese workshops.
Craft tea is a "tea that can be seen and enjoyed with the eyes" made by combining tea leaves and flowers. Hand-rubbed tea leaves are elongated and threaded further bundled with thread, and flowers are placed in it and wrapped. If you put this lump of tea leaves in a pot and pour hot water, it will create beautiful flowers.
The craft tea handled by Ginza Croisos was created by Mr. Yoshio Wang of Anhui, China. Green tea is carefully selected from "Huangshan Moho", one of the top 10 famous teas in China, and "Kemon", one of the world's three largest teas. I use it.
In addition, since the craft tea of Mr. Wang emphasizes not only artistry but also the efficacy of Chinese medicine, it is called "Kogei Mecha" in terms of health.
Challenge craft tea at home
It's fun just to look at the various types of tea lined up in the store, but I actually purchased what I was interested in and brewed it at home.
This time, I chose a dish called "Hanakago", which is popular at stores.
On the back of the package, there is a message for each work, and in the case of a flower lantern, "The blooming flowers full of lanterns will produce a blessing."
When giving as a gift, if you refer to the messages contained in each work, you may feel more.
When you open the seal, you will see a "crafts" created by a combination of green tea leaves and flowers from inside.
The tea leaves are woven like baskets to represent the name of "Kankan", and the flowers of Sennichi Red, Mitsugu Chrysanthemum, Kinsenka, and roses are attached to this.
It goes without saying that the elaborate processing technology and the high design make it stand out.
I want to decorate it as it is, but I will bear that feeling well and gently put the tea leaves on the bottom of the pot.
The package contains instructions on how to drink delicious craft tea, so we will make it according to it.
1.Put one craft tea in a warm heat-resistant glass container.
2.Pour freshly boiled water, cover and wait for 2-3 minutes.
3.You can enjoy it up to 1 liter while sashi hot water. (One craft tea is for 2-3 people.)
When hot water is added, the tea leaves gradually open and spread, and the flowers above it also open so that they bloom together. Just watching the transparent pot changing little by little, your mind will calm down.
When it's time to open the steamed lid, the floral scent drifts, and the aroma of tea tickles the nose as if it were followed.
And a bite of the long-awaited tea.
At the same time, the aroma is strongly felt, and the moderately astringent and bitter taste of tea, as well as the faint acidity that seems to be a component of flowers, spread throughout the mouth. It was an easy-to-drink tea that could be drunk as much as possible because it was not so bad.
Combined with the flavor that cannot be tasted with ordinary Chinese tea and the appearance stimulation, it was a mysterious moment that I had never experienced before.
If you want to soak in the afterglow, you can enjoy it as a "underwater flower" by putting the finished tea in a transparent vase or glass and sinking it in water.
Craft tea that not only enjoys with five senses but also refreshes from inside the body with the power of Chinese medicine. Why don't you try it out?
