August 13 There are 53 portable shrines at Eitai Bridge.
This year, for the first time in six years, 53 portable shrine Union imperial procession will be held at the Reitaisai festival Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine (Fukagawa Hachiman Festival). Depart from Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine early in the morning of August 13, go around Toyo, Shirakawa, Kiyosumi and Hakozaki, and take a major break (lunch break) in Shinkawa. After that, portable shrine crosses Eitai Bridge. As has long been known as "portable shrine Fukagawa, floats Kanda, Dadahiro but Sanno-sama," Fukagawa boasts the full carrying of portable shrine among the three major festivals in Edo. Also known as the Water Festival, there is water discharge from fire brigades and trucks, so the Eitai-dori St. is full of portable shrine.
Shinkawa and Hakozaki in Chuo-ku are the children of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine. When I wondered why it was Fukagawa, the history was old, and it was the connection from the time Reiganji was erected in Shinkawa.
Please see the bulletin board and news for the festival schedule of each town council. Please search for "Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine 2023" for courses at portable shrine Union imperial procession.
A gold stick that leads the mikoshi
At the top of the mikoshi, walking while ringing a shanshan and a gold stick is a gold stick. Please note that each town has its own characteristics. In the first place, gold stick pulling was done by portable shrine. It is said to have the meaning of letting the sound of portable shrine pass through, removing evil with a gold stick, and purifying the path.
This is the Komaban table with the order of the portable shrine Union imperial procession. First, Miyamoto Fifty-five is Fukahama. Well, if you look closely at 53 units, there are no numbers 4 and 42.
My Shinkawa and Hakozaki are from thirty-two to thirty-nine.
The Komaban Table and the following two photos were provided to Hachimangu Shrine Tomioka.
