Art group team teamLab "Shiki Noboruza-Doncho"-Meijiza-

This is rosemary sea, which focuses on "gifts and enjoy yourself."
Meijiza celebrated its 145th anniversary last year.
In 1873, a theater called "Kishoza" opened to blow a new style of theater in Japan.
This is the beginning of Meijiza, the theater with the longest history in Tokyo today.
And this time, Meijiza's new curtain, a curtain designed by the art group "Team Lab", which is now talked about, was shown.
Naoko Hayashi, the advertising department of Meijiza Co., Ltd., gave the consent of the article.
Then, I would like to introduce this curtain, which was released on April 11, this year (Thursday) ...

The curtain, which is a curtain to hide the stage from the audience.
It separates the stage space from the audience.
The curtain is an important thing that can be called the "face" of the theater.
It plays an important role as the first stage equipment to invite audiences to the world of entertainment.
Meijiza's curtain, which will be newly established this time, is a curtain of digital art that changes every moment.
The meticulous decoration of traditional curtains is reconstructed with video expression using digital technology, and it is produced with high image quality equivalent to 4K resolution.
7m long and 20m wide, Meijiza was born as Kishoza. The cityscape of Nihonbashi during Civilization and enlightenment and the activities of people are dynamically depicted.

And the people in it are moving.
In addition, not only people, but also the flow of the river, the sobbling of trees, and even the clouds.
In addition, the world of works is linked to the actual weather in Nihonbashi that day, and changes over time and season.
It gets dark at night.
If it rains, the work of the people drawn accordingly will change.
You can see beautiful seasonal scenery such as cherry blossom viewing, autumn leaves, and snow scene every season.
Please enjoy a very new curtain, where the elaborate designs start to move lively with digital technology.
