2019/3/3 Mayumi Watanabe exhibition from tomorrow

2019/3/19 izutuki 5th Anniversary Exhibition of Mayumi Watabe

This time, we also took care of Mr. Abe, manager of Kiya Nihonbashi Kiya Honten Co., Ltd.

At the same time, Mr. Oba, who is in charge of izutuki, also introduced us.

Greetings from Kiya

This is an exhibition by Mayumi Watanabe, a writer living in Venice, Italy.

I'm making a work that combines the technique of chine Colleee and painting techniques.

The work is one thing.

At the time of purchase, it will be handed over after the exhibition period.

※ Shinkore: [Translation] A technique of sticking thin paper on the backing paper during the printing process.

chine is a high quality paper that came in from China, turned in from China.

collēe is collage, that is, "glue".

A high-quality thin paper called Shin is considered to be paper used in the Bible.

About Mayumi Watanabe's style

Mr. Watanabe paints on marble or uneven objects, copies them on thin paper and paste them together.

Each one I photographed is a picture.

Because the print itself does not exist, it does not come in the frame of prints, that is Mr. Watanabe's work.

Message from Mayumi Watanabe

For me, color plays the role of words.

And color is natural in life, and it speaks a lot to me.

I have continued to express the warm things that I felt strongly in my heart through color, refreshing things, everyday walking, my aspirations, excitement, casually and casually loved, and very important things that I felt by a heart that cannot be expressed in words with colors and lines.

Something that reaches the heart through the medium of color.

If there is, there is no such thing as a writer.

・・And then I would like to introduce the goods.

The price is shown at the price excluding tax.
