I followed a friend of Ieyasu who came from the end of the sea
- Leafde's trail

Just before the battle of Sekigahara, one foreign ship drifted ashore on the coast of Bungo. The trail map was located in the Yaesu Underground Shopping Center.

The name of the ship is "Leafde", and the two onboard Jan Jooss Ten and William Adams are related to Chuo-ku. I heard that the hint was at Nihonbashi, the starting point of Gokaido, so I went to Nihonbashi.

Start with a kirin statue in Nihonbashi!

The Japanese name of Williams Adams is "Anjin Miura". On the monument of "Nihonbashi Fish Market Departure Shonochi" at the base of Nihonbashi and its explanation board, the place name "Anjin Miura" related to "Anjin Miura" was engraved. (Sumimasen because I can't see the sentence!)

Start Nihonbashi and follow Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, and you will see the name of "Anjin-dori" on the telephone pole!

Anjin-cho still left its name as "Anjin-dori". As you proceed along the street with the telephone pole sideways, you will see a spot to worry about next to the seaweed shop! Maybe?

There was! "Anjin Miura Yashiki Ruins"! From here, Williams Adams went to Edo Castle with Ieyasu, right? I'm worried about whether it was a boat or a land.

Williams Adams joined forces with Masashi Mukai, the head of the Shogunate Mifune who lived in Higashizume, this shipping bridge, and sent a 80-ton sailing ship in 1604 (Keicho 9) in Izu Ito and 1607 (Keicho 12) It seems that he made a large ship of 120 tons.

And if you look at Tokyo Station from Yaesu Street (central strip)…

Thank you! Jan Jooss Ten Monument! The place name Yaesu seems to be derived from the presence of a worship house in his name.

If you notice it, go to the starting point! Jan Jooss Ten, right now!

A take-out rally is being held at Yaesu Underground Shopping Center! I was sent off by Jan Jooss Ten, who is still active, and finished my mini trip. Thank you, Jan Jooss Ten, Williams Adams!
