The shrine of Inari in the sky in Ginza

Inari-sama Shrine on the roof of the Ginza Hakutsuru Building, which was introduced in the previous blog post (seminated from Tepposu Inari Shrine). It is not uncommon for a shrine to sit on the roof of a building because it is rude for people to walk over God. Outsiders cannot visit the Ginza Hakutsuru Building on their own, but there is also Inari Shrine in the sky where anyone can easily visit Ginza.
Asahi Inari Shrine, which became a sacred place.

In the animated movie "The Child of Weather" (2019), the place where Haruna, the main character, got the power of a woman, was depicted as a shrine on the roof of the abandoned building (Yyogi Kaikan), but there was no shrine on the roof of the actual Yoyogi Kaikan (demolited in 2020). It is said that the model of the rooftop shrine was Asahi Inari Shrine on the roof of the Daihiro Asahi Building in Ginza.
It seems that Asahi Inari Shrine has been enshrined here since ancient times. After the war, shrine hall was rebuilt. In 1983, the current joint building was built when renovating the neighboring Ohiro Building. The main hall was laid on the roof, but anyone can go up to the 8th floor by the elevator inside the building and go to the rooftop by emergency stairs.
In addition, the hall of worship at the stairwell on the first and second floors of the buildings is connected by pipes so that worship at worship hall can reach main hall. It is unique that you can worship without going to the rooftop.

Kakugo Inari Shrine, the god of fire prevention

With the opening of GINZA SIX (April 20, 2017), a redevelopment project for Ginza 6-chome 10th and 11th blocks including the site of the Matsuzakaya Ginza store, Kakugo Inari Shrine has been relocated to its rooftop. It's located on the east corner. Originally, in 1929, Ginza Inari Shrine in Higashi-Nippori, Arakawa-ku (19th Edo period) was enshrined on the roof of the Matsuzakaya store from Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto).
The Matsuzakaya Ginza store opened as the first department store in Ginza in the year following the Great Kanto Earthquake (1923), leading the reconstruction of Ginza. It is said that the Great Kanto Inari Shrine protected Higashi-Nippori Town from the Great Earthquake and the Great Fire of Nippori (1925), and it is thought that the benefit of fire prevention was also expected in Ginza.

Sankai Shrine, which protects Mitsui

On the rooftops of Ginza Mitsukoshi and Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store (main building), Miguru Shrine (also known as Sankai Inari) in Mukojima, Sumida-ku is enshrined. Since the "enclosure" surrounds Mitsui's "well", it seems to have become the guardian deity of the Mitsui family.
Sankai Shrine, located on the roof of the Ginza Mitsukoshi building, sits next to Ginza Susei guardian of children and travelers. The place where the Inari of Shinto and the Buddhist Jizo Bodhisattva are lined up is exactly "Japan".
On the other hand, it seems that Koun Takamura's "Activity Daikokuten" is enshrined on the grounds of Sankai Shrine on the roof of the building of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. Unfortunately, I have never seen it because it is usually closed. According to the website of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, `` Even with a merciful face expression, I stood up on a bale, stepped up my right foot, raised the hammer of a hammer, and now I am wearing an active figure that is just trying to give Fukutoku. " I'd like to see you once.
