It is said that the original story dates back to the generation of Nara Heian period, but it is generally said that "Taiheiki reading" is the beginning. It seems that it came to be called "Kodan" after the Meiji period until the Edo period. It is said that the Edo lecture began when Seizaemon Akamatsu took Taiheiki at the town Tsuji in Mitsukebe, Asakusa during the Genroku era. This became the "Taiheiki Koshakuba", and during the Ansei period, the "Taiheikijo Kihara no Monument" was built and moved to the Yagenbori Fudoin precincts, so the area around Yagenbori Fudo was the birthplace of Edo Koshaku.

In the early days, I was teaching on the street corner like a street live now. This form of Tsujikoshaku will be held on the street in front of Fudoin. This year's NHK Taiga drama series "What Ieyasu" was one of the motifs of the real deified Ieyasu, but did the talks also play a role in deification? He said, "Learson, tell a lie like you've seen." By the way, Yushima Tenjin has a monument called the birthplace of Kodan Koza.

In addition, fan-shaped paper is distributed to the general public, and you can write wish and fire it up.
