It was late this year. Kawazu cherry blossoms in Chuo-ku finally bloom.
Kawazu cherry blossoms are planted near Takahashi on the Kamejima River and at Shinkawa Park on the Chuo-ohashi Bridge on the Sumida River. Flowering was delayed this year due to the cold wave, but it seems to finally bloom.
Flowering more than 10 days later than last year
As mentioned in the news, Kawazu cherry blossoms bloomed late at Kawazu in the home of Izu, and the annual cherry blossom festival was extended. The Kawazu cherry blossoms at the Kamejima River and the site of the former Sakuragawa estuary in the photo were more than 10 days later than usual, and finally the flowers began to bloom.
The cherry blossoms at the Chuo-ohashi Bridge have begun to bloom a lot, probably because of the sudden warm weather.
This is Kawazu cherry tree near Chuo-ohashi Bridge. Is this one sunny, it is beginning to bloom a lot. It's not in full bloom yet. Every year, the bird Japanese white-eye often flys, but I haven't met this year yet. I'd like to take pictures well this year.
Last year it was in full bloom on February 18th.
This photo was taken on February 18 last year and was in full bloom. Compared to this, it can be seen that flowering is quite slow. This year seems to be because the strongest cold wave has arrived just now. You've finally heard the footsteps of spring.
