This year was late. Kawazu cherry blossoms in Chuo-ku are finally blooming
Kawazu cherry blossoms are planted near Takahashi on the Kamejima River and Shinkawa Park on the Chuo-ohashi Bridge on the Sumida River. This year, flowering was delayed due to the cold wave, but it seems to be finally blooming.
Flowering more than 10 days later than last year
As I was doing it in the news, Kawazu cherry blossoms were slow in the flowering of Kawazu in Izu, and the annual cherry blossom festival was also extended. Kawazu cherry blossoms at the Kamejima River in the photo and the ruins of the former Sakuragawa estuary are more than 10 days later than usual, and finally the flowers began to bloom.
The cherry blossoms at Chuo-ohashi Bridge began to bloom a lot, probably because they suddenly got warm.
This is Kawazu-zakura on the side of Chuo-ohashi Bridge. Is this sunny or is it starting to bloom a lot. It's not in full bloom yet. The birds, Japanese white-eye, often fly, but I haven't met this year yet. I'd like to take a good picture this year.
Last year it was full on February 18th.
This photo was taken on February 18, last year, when it was in full bloom. You can see that the flowering is quite slow compared to this. This year, it seems that the strongest cold wave has arrived just now. You've finally heard the footsteps of spring.
