Spring Urara, cherry blossoms, marche and Sumida River walk

The first weekend of April was a pleasant day when the weather finally recovered and the blue sky spread out.
Cherry blossoms are just at their best, and many people may have enjoyed cherry blossom viewing.
I was also invited by the spring weather and enjoyed the row of cherry blossom trees while strolling along the Sumida River Terrace.

"Spring Urara Sumida River marche" @ Ishikawajima Park
At Ishikawajima Park, where such beautiful cherry blossoms are in full bloom, "Spring Urara no Sumida River marche 2025" was held.

In marche, there are many sweets shops based on the theme of "handmade, safe and secure", as well as wine, beer and lunch boxes that are perfect for cherry blossom viewing.
A total of 65 stores were opened in two days.
There is also a stamp rally where you can get stamps when you shop at each store, and when you collect stamps, rice or apple juice was presented on a first-come, first-served basis.
(The flyer stated that it was "neighborhood limited", but everyone seemed to be able to participate because they distributed flyers for stamp rally on the spot.)
Waterside library
In a small library where picture books are lined up by reusing discarded apple boxes, there is also a `` sustained cushion '' filled with discarded urethane in a hemp bag of coffee beans, where you can lie down and relax with a small child. The space was spreading.
There are tables and chairs in Kawabe, and you can enjoy what you bought in marche on the spot.
While watching the Sumida River and the cherry blossoms in full bloom, I was able to spend a special time on the Sumida River terrace, which is slightly different from usual.
Ishikawajima Park is a 5-minute walk from Tsukishima Station on the Yurakucho Line or Oedo Line, making it easy to access.
In addition, there is no bicycle parking lot or parking lot in the park, so please use public transportation (train or bus) before coming.
The Sumida River marche will also be held at another venue on the Sumida River Terrace in May and June.
