In the Sumida River, as the "Sumida River Terrace Gallery", Nishiki-e, such as the cityscape from Edo to Showa, is displayed on the seawall. (Excerpt from the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Construction website) The background of the paintings in the gallery is wide from Edo to Showa, and just looking at them, I feel as if I had slipped back in time in that era. I like walking while envisioning the background of the times.♪
