Click here for today's walk route.
Love cherry blossoms at Harumi Triton Square, cross the Haruzuki Bridge over the Asashio Canal, enjoy the cherry blossoms on the Tsuki Shimakawa Green promenade, and walk to Kachidoki Station.
Harumi Triton Square where you can enjoy cherry blossoms for a long time
There are two areas where you can enjoy cherry blossoms at Harumi Triton Square.
The first is "Harumi Daisan Park" (A in the map) at the southeast corner of the site, and the second is "Sakura no promenade" facing the Asashio Canal side on the west side of the site.
A: Harumi Third Park
The two cherry blossoms in a sunny place were in full bloom, probably because of the reflection from a high-rise building.
However, there is a side where the same tree is blooming well and a side where there are still buds remaining, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms a little more.
B: Sakura's promenade
The morning tide canal side of Harumi Triton Square is street named "Sakura no promenade".
Sakura trees are planted at regular intervals, and it is a wonderful space where you can enjoy both the boat going through the canal and the cherry blossoms.
The characteristic here is that various kinds of cherry blossoms are planted. At that time, you can enjoy cherry blossoms for a long time.
If you look at the Sakura Kobashi, which is dedicated to pedestrians over the Asashio Canal, you can see that there are cherry blossoms in various conditions, such as cherry blossoms beginning to fall, cherry blossoms in full bloom, and cherry blossoms with still hard buds.
C: "Sakura no promenade (north side)" seen from Harutsuki Bridge
Crossing the Haruzuki Bridge, which connects Harumi and Tsukishima, you can see that the Sakura promenade is still continuing.
The cherry blossoms on the upstream side of Harutsuki Bridge were almost in full bloom as of March 23, probablyYoshino cherry tree.
E: Tsukishimakawa Green Walkway (East)
In the river’s edge of the Tsukishima River, which connects the Asashio Canal and the Sumida River, there is a promenade called "Tsuki Shimakawa Green Promenade".
Cherry blossoms are also planted here, making it the best area to walk at this time.
The eastern promenade, which is closest to Triton Square, was sunny and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
※The right side of the photo was taken from Triton Square side, and the left side of the photo was taken from the opposite side (Tsukishima Bridge side).
F: My Children's Park
The "Tsukishimakawa Green Promenade" is interrupted at Tsukishima Bridge, so go out to Kiyosumi-dori and go north.
Cross Kiyosumi-dori St. at the signal at the end of Tsukishima Daiichi Elementary School in Chuo Ward, and go straight west. You will find "My Children's Park" in front of the embankment of Sumida River.
Is the cherry blossoms here also Yoshino cherry tree, and it was wonderfully blooming.
G: Tsuki Shimakawa Green Promenade (west side)
Turn left on the street in front of My Children's Park (Nishikawa Riverside Street) and go south until it hits, there is a path leading to the "Tsukishimakawa Green Promenade".
From there, walk along the Tsukishima River on the Tsukishima River again, and you will find a stunning cherry blossom tunnel.
Depending on the sun, the flowering situation of the cherry blossoms varies from full bloom to three-minute bloom, and the cherry blossoms are likely to be enjoyed for several days.
H: Tsuki Shimakawa Green Promenade (west side)
"Tsukishimakawa Green Promenade" is interrupted once at Nishinaka Bridge.
Let's cross the Monja Street.
※If you follow Nishinaka-dori on your left, it is an area where monjayaki shops gather in a few minutes.
If you're hungry, please go to Monjaya.
"Excellent ventilation" is especially recommended at this time.♪
By the way, when I crossed Nishinaka-dori and went down again to "Tsukishimakawa Green Promenade", this cherry tree was almost in full bloom.
I: Cherry blossoms on the Tsukishima River view from Tsukishima Bridge
If the "Tsukishimakawa Green Promenade" hits Kiyosumi-dori St. again, the Harumi & Tsukishima Sakura Walking Route will end soon.
On the way to Kachidoki Station, enjoy the cherry blossoms again from the top of Tsukishima Bridge.
As mentioned above, we introduced the highlights of cherry blossoms from Harumi to Tsukishima.
There are various types of cherry blossoms on the course, and there are still cherry blossoms in the future when it is in full bloom.
