Relocation of the monument to the site of Tsukiji Small Theater

A corner of the buildings of Tsukiji 2-chome. There is a monument to the ruins of the Tsukiji Small Theater, which is fitted on the brick wall on the vertical line between Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Heisei-dori. This is a theater established by Yoshi Hijikata in Kaoru Osanai and invested his private property in June 1924 (Daisho 13) at Tsukiji 2-5, Kyobashi-ku. This is the first permanent theater in Japan. This year in 2024 is the 100th anniversary of its opening.
