Spring! Reunion with fringed iris
It was raining in the spring storm. It's been about 10 years ago. When a child was crossing Eitai Bridge in the evening, I was impressed by the flower raft of cherry blossom petals connected hundreds of meters from the upstream of the Sumida River. We went for a walk with hope in the afternoon when it was sunny. Only a small petal was flowing. On my way home, I wondered if the flowers of fringed iris were blooming, so I went through a condominium in Minato, which I happened to find before. There were four plantings in which fringed iris had bloomed in the past, but when I couldn't confirm it through the third, I found several fringed iris flowers in the last planting.
The flowers of fringed iris bloom from April to May. I was worried about seeing this flower three years ago, and just knowing the name two years ago, I wrote it on my blog. This was my first blog.

I witnessed fringed iris flowers last year, but I think it was May at the end of flowering. weeping cherry tree is blooming in the planting next to the planting I found this time. It may be difficult to see fringed iris and Sakura at the same time. The next day I went to the back road of promenade on the Tsukishima side along the Sumida River, where I saw fringed iris two years ago.
I could see a lot of fringed iris flowers on the back street of promenade. Perhaps because it was the end of last year and two years ago, I was surprised to see it for the first time that it was blooming so much. On the back of a condominium in Tsukishima, I found a flock of fringed iris under the Yoshino cherry tree where branches grow on the Sumida River side.
In my first blog, I wrote that fringed iris flowers are not very good at direct sunlight. It's not a seed or bulb, so I don't know how the flowers will increase. I thought it would only bloom gently in a small number in the shade. I wrote in my blog that you should look for fringed iris. I don't think it will come together and bloom so much. A few days after posting a blog, there is a business near Hamacho and when you pass through the park, fringed iris is growing. I wanted to notice before posting ... but I was happy to meet a lot of cute flowers.
I visited Hamacho Park again. Due to the construction, the place that bloomed two years ago was surrounded by half. But I still met a lot of flowers.
I saw a correspondent blog in 2016. It was written that fringed iris was blooming on the premises of the National Taxation Bureau.

There are many fringed iris flowers on the right front of the National Taxation Bureau. Is it planted because there are a lot of them? He was gently swaying in the wind. Don't worry about it.

I was worried, so I looked around. The back street in front of Akashi Elementary School and on the Minato side of promenade had not yet bloomed. The tree itself is gone beside the daily sports headquarters. I am convinced that it is still early because it is a flower that blooms around May, but there was a tree in promenade. It was sparse, but it is a place where the sun shines. I saw the Shimotsuke in the photo at the bicycle slope at Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, a place covered with a net. A considerable number of flowers were blooming. I don't know if it's the same strain, but there was a Shimotsuke in the same place that confirmed that it had bloomed until February of this year following last year. I wonder if it's always blooming.
I couldn't take pictures with Sakura or fringed iris, but I enjoyed a lot of spring feeling.
