He wrote

Hado notes "Irifune Town Name Magazine"

You can see it in the book forest chuo.

This mentions the establishment of the Irifune Town Association.

 Irifune Town Association 100 Years

It was created based on the figure of Bunkyuji (1862) in the Chuo-ku history chart. It is a part of the current Shintomi, Irifune, Minato, Akashicho and Tsukiji.

Tsuchiya Tamaba writes that Samurai residence was located in Irifune-cho at the time when it was written. Irifunecho was the place where Ii of the Hikone Domain, Matsudaira of the Kawagoe Domain, Aoyama of the Shinoyama Domain, Tanuma of the Kokubo Domain, and the main residence of Nakagawa of the Oka Domain were located. The Hikone Ii family and the Nakagawa family of the Oka clan were in the history chart. There is also a change of territory in six years until the Meiji Restoration. The Kokubo clan Tanuma was created in a hurry during the Meiji Restoration, and the Tanuma family became the lord. It seems that it was a clan that survived from 1868 to the abolished feudal prefecture the following year. I think Matsudaira, the Kawagoe clan, may be misunderstood in the territory.

In December 1868, the new government took up the above climate and named it Irifune-cho. Irifune-cho was from 1-chome to 9-chome. 6-chome to 9-chome are designated as Tsukiji foreign settlements, and the street name is once abolished. In 1873, it was reorganized again and became Irifunecho 7-chome and 8-chome. Irifunecho 6-chome is set on the site of the Irifune River, which was reclaimed after the Great Kanto Earthquake.

In 1910, an organization of a private association similar to the town council called Irimitsukai was established in Irifune-cho. However, it does not function for the townspeople in general, and in the Taisho era, there is a renewed momentum with the town council organization. And in March 1922, Irifune Town Association was established.
