The design on the back is that there is a boat on the waves, and the sail with the circle mark of the festival, the top of the mast of the boat enters, and one of the Chinese numerals below it expresses Irifune 1-chome.

By the way, the current street name is Irifune, but until 1973, the street name was Irifune-cho. The boat is the image of a small vehicle. In the past, the boat that used to enter and exit the Hatchobori area would be small. When designing, I think that it was a small boat that seemed to be imagined, and I dare to use my character.
This is the current undergarment of Irifune 1-chome. It is a design of a sail boat that says Iriichi on the waves. When was this undergarment made? At the festival in 1977, I found a photo that was worn by a child. It has a history of at least 47 years. The oldest photo of the successive festival group photos on the second floor of the Irifune 1-chome Town Disaster Prevention Center is currently in 1977. At that time, you can see that you were wearing this undergarment.
Youth club member U is given over from his seniors the undergarments worn in the 1940s before this.

I was asked by a young member SK to make a child-sized T-shirt. When he answered that he would buy it for his grandson, he checked the price and size. As a result of selling mainly SK, I saw a number of children wearing this JR T-shirt around portable shrine at Tepposhu Shrine in Reitaisai festival and at the carrying of miniature shrines the next day.
