#On the banks of Sumida, the natural neighborhood
Do you know the nature neighborhood? I read it as "I'm pretty." Does it mean that there is nature?
#It seems that it is posted on SNS with a natural area and hashtag, and it seems that it is popular to take pictures and post them on mountains, rivers, campsites, etc.
In the first place, most of the current Chuo-ku was the bottom of the sea. There are many flowers and greenery, but I thought that there was no true nature in Chuo-ku, but there was the Sumida River flowing in front of me. Of course, there are people's hands, and I think the flow is different from now. But the flow of water has continued since ancient times.
When I was a kid, the Sumida River was an image of bad smell and dirt. After water pollution measures were taken, the water gradually began to clean, fish swam and birds began to fly.
About 30 years ago, the pool at Chuo Elementary School was outdoors. When I was swimming in the pool for a fishing event, a big bird came down from above. A person who passed by the pool was surprised to see that he plunged into the pool and started preying the fish. When I heard that it was a bird with a long neck like a crane, I remember saying that such a story is a heron.
I took a picture of grey heron staring at the Sumida River on the messenger statue of Chuo-ohashi Bridge. It often flys from both Toyosu and Tsukiji Ohashi. I often rest my wings around here and near Minami Takahashi.
I never heard of the word "natural neighborhood" in the first place, but I learned on TV that it is a word that seems to be popular this year in trend prediction. In May, when I was walking to Ningyocho, I saw a loquat growing at Ginkgo Yahata Shrine.
When I looked up, it was in autumn that I wrote the blog that the fruit was growing. I was able to take pictures of fruits such as karin, citrus, pomegranates and persimmons, but of course I could not see the loquat that grew in spring. Before ripening, the color was light yellow. It's been a long time since I saw it.

Isn't it natural that fruit grows as usual when the time comes?
I decided to write a blog on the banks of the Sumida River with the theme of the nature neighborhood.
It is a handrail along the river that passed through Aioi Bridge and went further. This bird is a white rabbit.
It is a place where there is a monument to the site of Kaikaikan. Kaisuikan is Kappo cuisine Ryokan. It was built in this place called scenic beauty. The area around Tsukuda, where the pine forest was located, is a famous spot for the moon, which was also introduced in the Edo Famous Zoukai. Some people say the origin of the name Tsukishima. On a clear day, I could see the mountains of Boso Peninsula far away. The appearance of a slightly elegant smelt flying would have been a picture.
Compared to grey heron, the color of the wings looks white and the size is a little smaller and smarter image. You can see your feet long when you are flying.
This photo was taken from Minato Bridge to the upstream of the Nihonbashi River. The first bird you saw a lot in addition to crows, pigeons, and sparrows will be the spider. The Japanese birds that appear in the "Ise Monogatari" written in the Heian period are predominantly believed to be Japanese plums.
migratory bird. It seems that my face will turn black in summer. The other day, I witnessed a lot of gulls on the water of the Sumida River under Chuo-ohashi Bridge, whether I was swimming or resting. There was no gungro.
A few years ago, when I got off on the promenade, a lot of Japanese plums were lined up on the handrails. I couldn't count, but there were more than 60 birds. When one bird in the foreground flew off, he flew away one by one. It was spectacular.
The flower that I love very much is hydrangea. My favorite thing is dark purple. At this time, we see a lot of hydrangeas. You can see a beautiful figure along the school building of Chuo Elementary School. There are many along the river, and the area around St. Luke's Tower is also nice.
The flower Shimotsuke has been featured several times. You can see it in front of Akashi Elementary School, Minatoichi, Nima, and many places. There are three large Shimotsuke strains around Minato Sanchome in promenade. I think one is more than 2m in height. Did it bloom so much last year? I wonder if I didn't notice it because the time was different.
The photo shows the dark red hydrangea and shimotsuke that bloom in the planting of an apartment in Tsukuda near the Sumida River. It's very beautiful.
It's Indian spot-billed duck because the tip is yellow with a black beak.
I came near promenade on the Minato side.
About 30 years ago, when I was running at night, I was surprised that many birds were swimming on one side of the Sumida River. It's a duck or a duck. When I saw it the next day afternoon, it was Indian spot-billed duck. I'm going to eat at night.
When I passed Ishikawajima Park five years ago, my grandmother came to talk. I wanted to see the bird's parent and child swimming and approached together. The child felt quite mature, but he was a parent and child of Indian spot-billed duck. I remember that there were two parent birds and eight children. I was swimming in a puddle inside the fence where the water from the Sumida River flows. I'm sorry that I didn't have a camera at that time.
You can also see a lot of large birds where the flying figure looks black. It's a cormorant or a sea urchin. I can't tell you if it's so scary. When you get off the river, you'll dive right away. After about 2 minutes, you will face another place. And I'll dive right away. I didn't have a chance to shoot, and I took some pictures of the flying place, but it didn't appear clean. On this day, when I walked along the promenade from the anchor monument in Edo Minato, there were many black birds on the Reishijima tide station and the water mark. There were 17 birds that could be seen and 3 other birds flying on the river.
In winter, this place is where the squirrels are playing osicula buns, playing the sun and singing loudly.
I guess the picture of Yurikamome stayed in a group from Minato Bridge, but I also took several birds swimming on the river. It's a little too far, so if you're up it, you'll get blurred. I saw a bird swimming in the river from promenade on the Shinkawa side, so I thought it was a gull, so I took it again and checked the picture. I couldn't understand it with the naked eye because it was quite far away, but I thought it was not a lily turtle. When I went back home, I looked up, and my back was black and my face was tight, like black-tailed gull.
When I was in Sendai, a huge number of black-tailed gull was flying around by car through the bridge at Yuriage Port. With that unique squeal, my memory was revived.
It was Sakuragawa Rooftop Park that took this picture. There were three fun birds, whether to drink or bathe. I could see a lot of voices and moving in the leaves. When three birds fly up, the other three come down. Looking at the repetition of this, it was cute and took a picture. After that, I went to the rooftop park several times, but I couldn't meet again.
Cross the Chuo-ohashi Bridge and descend to Ishikawajima Park to the left and walk, and that bird is walking around with a lot of pigeons and sparrows. The movement was too fast and I couldn't shoot well here. This bird with a black head and a long blue tail is a naga. When I saw the first bird at Ishikawajima Park, I crossed in front of me and the blue tail looked very beautiful.
There was a person who saw a parental swallow coming in and out, and when he looked into it, he found a nest near the ceiling of the garage.
A few days later, when I walked and looked for it, I found a nest in a house against the Sumida River. 20 years ago, I remember that there was a nest alongside a child's home. Three years ago, I saw it on the ceiling of the parking lot in Ginza. I've been there lately, so I didn't have it anymore. It's two chicks. I don't know the type. I didn't find a parent swallow.
I passed in front of you three days later. There was only one bird on the floor. I wondered if it had fallen, and if I was hesitant to do what to do, another flew, and if I encouraged, I flew side by side. It is said that the nesting time is about three weeks after the chicks return. Did you witness that moment?
One week later, when I was walking along the promenade from the Tsukiji side, two swallows were flying just behind this nested house. I'm not convinced that it's a chick that I saw, but I think that's in line with the theme of the nature neighborhood.
