(The picture at the beginning is also part of this work.)

"The manga shown in the image on display is a sculpture made of iron bars, and this sculpture is still permanently installed in some woods.

In this work, permanent objects are regarded as "manuscripts" of manga, and images taken of "manuscripts" are regarded as "publications".

Like comics that are actually distributed, the manuscript of this work is placed in a place that is not visible to readers, and only images as "publications" are displayed.

In this work, the image as a "publication" is a part of being seen directly by people, and it is evidence that the "manuscript" is certainly somewhere.

The site where the "manuscript" is placed is not seen directly, but ubiquitously distributed in the distant mountains in the neighboring thicket of trees, through the imagination of the person who saw the "publication".

・・・Please look at the five front and one on the left side and draw the author's intentions.

This work was produced three pieces on the theme of the assumed plant.

They all use dry techniques.

I am interested in objects and interiors in the living space, and I made this work with the image of an object placed in a sophisticated room.

In addition, I think that the curve beauty, color, and vitality born from plants have the power to make you want to see for a long time.

I used lacquer, a natural material collected from wood, to express beautiful plants as a semi-permanent work.

At the Okugawa Village in Nishiaizu-cho, Fukushima Prefecture, where the shooting location was set, young people born and raised in the city listened to local residents about traditional culture, lifestyle and food that have been nurtured in the area for a long time. Talk.

And the young people walk with a temporary snow-made guardian of children and travelers, as if women re-enacted the event that took place in Okugawa Village, carrying guardian of children and travelers around their homes.

A culture to lose and a culture to remain.

People with different backgrounds and ideas are trying to create a new community by talking face-to-face while eating and drinking together.

Is it really right that we think we are right?

Rethink what diversity is by capturing things from various viewpoints.
