A highway on the roof of the "NISHIGINZA" and "Ginza INZ" stores?

Nishi-Ginza-dori Street (Sotobori-dori Street) From around Ginza 3-chome, you can see the direction of Yurakucho.

There are highways on the roof of buildings in the "NISHIGINZA" and "Ginza INZ" stores, and cars are running.

In fact, this "Tokyo Kosoku Doro" is an automobile road constructed and operated by the landlord who rents the shops of these buildings.

The landlord is a private company called "Tokyo Kosoku Doro Co., Ltd." (established in 1951).

To ease traffic around Ginza, we have built an elevated motorway on the site of the former landfills of outer moat, Kyobashi and Shiodome rivers, and lease buildings to more than 400 stores and offices.

(All roads started operation in 1966)

This road is about 2 km away from Ginza, but it is directly connected to the Metropolitan Expressway and contributes to the network of the expressway network in Tokyo.
