≪TOKYU PLAZA GINZA / KIRIKO LIGHTS CHRISTMAS≫
Under the development concept of "Creative Japan - the world will be interesting from here", the new landmark "Tokyu Plaza Ginza" (Ginza 5) at the Sukiyabashi intersection celebrates the 6th anniversary of its opening, incorporating Edo Kiriko, a traditional craft that is suitable for a city where innovation for the future coexists. From November 18th to December 25th, we are holding a Christmas installation "KIRIKO LIGHTS CHRISTMAS Tradition and Innovation-Meeting New Light-" with the theme of Edo Kiriko, the motif of the building. Venue: Tokyu Plaza Ginza 1st floor in front of Sukiyabashi intersection Lighting time: 9:30~23:00 Opening hours of exhibition space (Mon to Sat): 11:00~19:00 The beautiful light and shadow woven by the Kiriko pattern named after the place name of Sukiyabashi, which was newly created by Kiriko artists. "Tradition" and "Innovation" are expressed through installations that add modern technology to the use of Japanese light and change the way Edo Kiriko's pattern look. You can experience the new world created by combining a new Kiriko pattern, the movement of light, and the sound collected in the workshop.
