ancient shrine, which is said to have been founded in 730 (730), was transferred to the current location of the Omote unlucky direction guardian of Edo Castle in 1616. You're familiar with the name "Myojin-sama". The reverence to Kanda Myojin has been inherited and the festival is cherished.

With the increase in the number of participants with faith, Kanda festival has transformed itself into a gorgeous and fun-filled festival. Every year, the main festival is crowded with about 300,000 spectators, and the "Shinko Festival" and "portable shrine Miyairi" are held.

In the main festival in 2023, which was the first time in four years, sacred wine offices were set up at each town council, and matching seals and half coats were gathered.

The Shinko Festival is a grand Shinto ritual where gorgeous and gorgeous lines such as three horen, portable shrine and floats go around each town council in shrine parishioner over a day. In the former Kariya of Nihonbashi Ryogoku, a daytime dish is served, and in the evening a festival is added.
By walking along the cruise route, I felt the vitality of the city up close and it was a very enjoyable Edo walk.
