Remotely navigating your beloved Chuo-ku, rosemary sea.
From Friday, May 26 to June 22 (Thursday), "Painting in a bag" painter Mihoko Inazawa, a long-established knife shop Nihonbashi Kiya Honten, and the attached gallery izutuki, is being held.
※ Artists at the gallery 5/27 6/3 6/4
Opening hours: 12:00 to 18:00
Here are some Japanese-style fans created entirely by hand.
The gentle but powerful style, such as the color created using soil from all over Japan, collected by the artist himself with his own feet, is attractive.
The fan represents the passage of time and story on the front and back, and it is just your own world.
This time, we also took care of Mr. Abe, director of Kiya Nihonbashi Honten Co., Ltd.
At the same time, Mr. Oba, who is in charge of izutuki, also introduced us.
About Mihoko Inazawa
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1955.
Graduated from Tama Art Univ. (Design) and Musashino Art Univ. (Japanese painting).
In the process of exploring the expression of Japanese painting, we meet craftsmen who inherit tradition and learn about the skills, materials, and heart of craftsmen.
The words of the craftsman I met during the trip triggered the collection of "soil" and made it one of the art materials.
Sometimes miracles happen when you leave yourself on earth and Japanese paper.
I think that one work is a collaborative work with nature, materials, and painting.
"All the fans are carefully drawn.
I hope you find your only fan.
Inazawa Mihoko worship"
Mr. Inazawa's website is here.

Please take a look at the other side at the venue.
It's fun to imagine, "What's the back side?"
