Kanazawa's craft "Ginza's Kanazawa" that you can meet in Ginza
Today, when the autumn leaves become beautiful every day and you can feel the cold so that you can completely forget the hot summer, how about immerse yourself in the autumn of art?
Speaking of Kanazawa, the castle town of Kaga Hyakumangoku. Kutani porcelain, Kanazawa lacquerware, Kaga Yuzen dyeing, and many traditional culture and craft techniques are rooted in daily life. Did you know that there is a place in Ginza where you can meet new talents cultivated in Kanazawa?
In the past, "Ginza Kanazawa" was located in Ginza 1-chome, but in March 2024 it opened as a new craft art gallery in Ginza 5-chome. Near Yurakucho Station and Yasuaki Elementary School in Chuo Ward, there are many galleries around here, making it a good place to stop by while visiting the gallery.
There is also a permanent craft corner, but innovative art works of a truly new artist who studied at Kanazawa College of Arts and Kanazawa Utatsuyama Crafts Studio are introduced weekly and monthly. I was very excited to see things that show the smell of traditional Kanazawa crafts such as Kutani porcelain, and on the other hand, encounter new unique works, and immediately use them on a daily basis and put them around me.
The price is not extremely high, the warmth of crafts is felt, and I just purchased one item. I'm back with a happy feeling.
It seems that there are also craft workshops and demonstrations. Also, from November 20th (Wednesday) to December 2nd (Monday), there are also seasonal items and exhibitions of lucky items for the New Year as "Kanazawa New Year Exhibition in Ginza".

By all means, why don't you stop by to taste stylish and sophisticated crafts while shopping in Ginza, which is gorgeous for Christmas?
