Redevelopment around Nihonbashi and Yaesu, which has progressed so far in four years

Over the past four years, redevelopment has been actively promoted in the Nihonbashi and Yaesu neighborhoods. The Toda Building and Tokyo Midtown in front of the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station have been completed, and the second and third phases are currently under construction in the area on the left side of Tokyo Midtown. Compare this with the photo in 2021.
The building under construction, which stands out in the photo, is a 52-story, 284-meter-high complex under construction developed by Mitsui Fudosan. The top floor is currently being assembled and is scheduled to be completed in March 2026. Once completed, it will be the tallest commercial building in Japan, but it will also be until March 2028. Right next to the right, a huge "Tokyo Touch" stands behind a black cadded building. 385m! With its overwhelming presence, the scenery will change completely.
An area close to the waterside of the Nihonbashi River will be created around Edo Nihonbashi, which is just right to the right of Mitsui's General Building. Removal of a smart high-rise road that passes over the bridge is also underway with the aim of completing it in 2040. Nihonbashi will be reborn.
