"Rikyu Shape Exhibition-The Design and Heart to be inherited" Matsuya's 150th Anniversary-Matsuya Ginza
Happy New Year. Matsuya Ginza's first project in 2020, "Rikyu Shape Exhibition", which celebrated its 150th anniversary, has begun. "The tea ceremony can be said to be one of the foundations of Japanese culture. Through the tools related to the great adult Sen no Rikyu, this exhibition introduces the trajectory and significance that has been passed down to date." "Rikyu's aesthetic sense and intention" shows examples of existing works, tea bowls, jube, and pots. You can see Yojiro's "Yu no Kama" by Kankyuan, and at "Senke and Craftsman", "Rikyu-style tea utensils 12" were exhibited from the painter Nakamura House, and I'm glad to see something I've never seen before.
I believe only what I think is beautiful with my own eyes, regardless of the previous rules, and it suddenly became "legitary" and became the bottom of today's Japanese aesthetic sense.
At the beginning of 2020, this is an exhibition that I would like to see.
