The movie "What a Star?"
The movie "What a Star" directed by Shiro Toyoda 1962 will be screened in "Cinemavela Shibuya".
Jun Takami's original (announced in 1940) is set in Asakusa, but in the movie, it is set along the Tsukiji River. The main character is the daughter of Odenya (Fujiko Yamamoto) facing the Tsukiji River near St. Luke Hospital.
There is a scene where Fujiko Yamamoto visits his friend Nobuko Otowa living on Tsukuda Island, and Tsukuda's handover also appears.
I knew this content, but I couldn't watch it because there was no DVD, so I was sorry.
The screening period is from January 25 (Sat) to January 31 (Fri).

Earlier, I introduced the movie directed by Mikio Naruse, "Chinu Akidate", and I also watched it. The area around Kyobashi Elementary School (now Kyobashi Plaza) was undergoing drastic changes, and although the positional relationship was not well understood, the scenery 60 years ago was familiar.
