The movie "Beneath any Star"

Shiro Toyota's 1962 film "Any Star Under" will be screened at "Cinemavera Shibuya".

Jun Takami's original work (published in 1940) is set in Asakusa, but in the movie it is set along the Tsukiji River. The main character is the daughter of Odenya (Fujiko Yamamoto) facing the Tsukiji River near St. Luke Hospital.

There is a scene where Fujiko Yamamoto visits his friend Nobuko Otowa, who lives on Tsukuda Island, and Tsukuda's handover also appears.

I knew about this, but since the DVD didn't come out, I couldn't watch it, so I was sorry.

The screening period is from January 25 (Sat) to January 31 (Fri)

I introduced Mikio Naruse's movie "Autumn Tatechinu" earlier, and I also watched it. The area around Kyobashi Elementary School (now Kyobashi Plaza) was changing drastically, and although the location relationship was not well understood, the scenery 60 years ago was familiar.
