ARTIZON MUSEUM opens!
ARTIZON MUSEUM finally opened on January 18th (Saturday), and "The present location of the visible spectacle collection" began as an opening commemorative exhibition.
The Bridgestone Museum of Art, a public interest incorporated foundation, had been closed since May 2015 due to the rebuilding of the building, but it was reopened on the 1st to 6th floors of the Museum Tower Kyobashi with the name of the museum.
gallery space is said to have three floors, four to six floors, about twice the area of the former Bridgestone Museum.
When you enter from Chuo-dori, you will see the space of the atrium and the large stairs.
The first floor is a cafe space, and the second floor is a shop.
When you go up to the third floor, you will be greeted by the main lobby with a stairwell and escalator.

In order to ease waiting time until admission and provide a comfortable viewing environment, we have a designated date and time reservation system that separates the time, and it is a system to make reservations on the web and receive tickets, It is said that tickets will be sold at the museum window only if tickets are not sold out.

Saturday course
ARTIZON MUSEUM has been working to spread art from the former Bridgestone Museum as a "Saturday Course".
So far, we have accumulated a tremendous number of 2,318 times, but this is also going to be reopened in line with this opening.
With a capacity of 80 people each time, advance application is not required, participation fee is free, and anyone can participate if they obtain a numbered ticket distributed in front of the lecture room on the third floor from 12:00 on the day on a first-come, first-served basis.
On Saturday, January 18, the opening day, the first reopening was on the theme of "From the Bridgestone Museum to the Artizon Museum", and Director Hiroshi Ishibashi and Director Yoshiji Tabata, Creative Director, thought of the founder, Shojiro Ishibashi, There was talk about the characteristics of the museum and future initiatives, and the direction of collection.
